meh dad's girlfriend makes me uneasy enough that the garlic will help me sleep better at night. sleeping with a wooden stake under my pillow is uncomfortable...

Hey you! I'm good, making your blog recipe tomorrow night! Dad claims to hate garlic although he tends to eat it regularly when he doesn't know, so I'm going to not tell him about that and see how it goes. Keeping it vegi cause I eat meat occasionally but it's not a priority and dad is going to be a senior citizen in a few years and I'd like to keep him kicking as long as possible so the healthier the better. Wish me luck!

Do you have any ways I can improve my writing or any other tidbits of advice?

How do you improve your writing as far as "show, don't tell" goes? I don't feel like I'm doing a good job with it, especially when I want to write action/fighting scenes.

Thanks, it is amazing and I really enjoy it. Next week I am due to work in kennels with the dogs except it's inside and we have had such lovely weather recently. My supervisor said that she has only been in the kennels once and hasn't returned because it was so depressing. I'm not looking forward to it to be honest.

Yeah, but, now, I'm swimming in the lowest pit of "Tartarus". Your lovely young friend would also like to avoid women because he can't handle being around them::! And I'm working on my grades!

I've been offered either to work with the small animals again next wee, cats, dogs or horses. I am not sure which option to choose as I really quite enjoy working with the small animals. And my supervisor told me that she would like me to stay with her because I know what I'm doing.

Don't worry about it. It's going quite well and I am enjoying it. I have to clean out 15 rabbit enclosures and 1 Indian Runner Duck, called Ferdinand, enclosure as well as feed them. I also feed a blind grey squirrel. Ferdinand can't really live up to his name because both of his hips are bent inwards so he keeps treading on his own feet. I had to bring the birds in at the end of the day and Ferdinand shares a pen with five turkeys. The turkeys are ridiculously hard to move because when they sit down they refuse to get back up and they are incredibly heavy. Whilst trying to move them Ferdinand was chasing me as fast as his little legs could carry him and kept biting my trousers. He also dived at me through the mesh and got stuck (fortunately he wasn't injured). My supervisor said that she has been impressed by me. The only part that I don't like is the lunch break because I don't really know anybody so I sit in silence for 45 minutes.

I'm doing both good and bad. On one hand, I'm talking to people (girls) and, on the other hand, I'm swamped with schoolwork because I'm failing one class.
