Hey, I just did a google search and I found a thread you have posted on eNotAlone.
I felt I should write to see what's up. I am almost 30 and have been single my whole life
and the depression just gets worse every year. This has made be cynical and bitter.
I wish I was not like this and I really try to stay as positive as I can...

Hey, I am doing such and such. I am a university student in an engineering type programme.
So there have not been many women in my classes. I spend most of my days at campus in-front of a computer. So you have more prospects then I....

Gun law us pretty strict here. It's easier to get a shotgun licence than for a rifle but you still need a good reason to own one. I'm in a clay shooting club but to own even a .22 rifle you have to show the police the land you are intending to shoot on and it must be a minimum of so many acres. Pistols have long been been banned for civilian use.

Hi thanks for the add. I'm also into shooting, i haven't done much hunting though. I have a shotgun which i do clay shooting with and i have an air rifle.

Denmark's native language is danish ofc, but we learn english from a very young age, and we use it alot, all english-voiced tv-shows are only subtitled for instance (not like the germans dubbing eveything, lame) The seniors might have trouble speaking it though, lol.
I dont think americans in general are any of those things (although you guys eat too much haha), but your politics are just plain stupid. Things like Bush winning by using the religion-card or politicians moronic enough to claim that social healthcare is bad.

Great that you can accomplish your goals, the only thing I am can stay determined about is completing whatever computer-game im playing, lol.

I need a girlfriend too, gotta have that special someone in my life to boost my confidence, so I can actually care about doing anything :S Hm, I think Im going to have to become more of a shy-guy to people, to fit what my actual personality is like, thats my plan

Hehe, yeah nurse is a long way from electronics. I think having a job where you help and care for people might help you overwrite some of your anxieties. I hope you have your mind set on it enough to complete the edu and get that job
Denmark is bland, even that Simpsons episode with the danish Indiana Jones character had to use Dutch clichees because there arent any danish haha. But seriously, if you ever come over, you should check out the bigger cities for culture and maybe the western part of the country for its nature. And we all speak english

Good idea. Denmark is not much of a tourist country though (I might be biased, I live here). I love Germany, my avatar pic is from a trip there, and also France. If you find the money one day, you should go on adventure there.
Ive discussed with a friend to someday go to Canada, buy an old car and roadtrip down through the US, I dont have any money though or a job, so if we go, it will be along time from now

That's cool, alot of european heritage you have. We're you born in the states or did you move there? I'm mostly danish, and about 1/32 spanish hehe
