They're vermin, to be sure. Dig tunnels under the lawn, try to infiltrate homes in order to find a warm nest in the wintertime. Give off an incessant high-pitched squeak in the very early hours to some imagined threat...
But they're insanely cute. If you can forgive them their animalistic transgressions, then you can allow their chubby little cheeks to captivate you. ^^

It's close. A chipmunk. They're quite common and cute in south-east Ontario.

Although I'm not really much of a Simpsons fan, but I did enjoy watching the first couple of seasons they made. I'm more of a Family Guy fan myself.
