I haven't really looked at the ratings, but with a lot of TV shows on the Internet now, not everyone will be watching them on TV - especially if the Internet has no commercials! I can't imagine it'll come back a third time, unfortunately.

Another episode I really like is "Future Stock" with the 80's guy. "My only regret is...that I have...boneitis...."

That's good that you're quite neutral. I'm not sure what to think. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't, but it's not a huge thing in every episode, so I can live with it. It was funny when Leela married Cubert, too, and then he dates a robot Amy.

I do like that scene, as well, for similar reasons you do. It's a great scene, even if it wasn't that funny.

As it is, I'm watching Futurama right now. It's definitely a great show. Bring on season 8!

Oh, yeah, the forwards time machine is "The Late Philip J. Fry," and I quite like that one, too. When Fry is walking on Earth in the year one billion, it sort of makes you think about what the Earth would be like at that time. Even though it's a funny episode, the delivery of the plot and Leela's forgiveness of Fry when she gets that birthday card are nice touches.

Do you know the episode "Godfellas"? It's where Bender is flying through space with those little dudes on his stomach. The part where he meets "God" in that galaxy is a great scene. Bender asks if he did the right thing and God says, "right and wrong are just words. What matters is what you do." And also, "When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all." Powerful writing for a cartoon.

Agreed about modern South Park, and Family Guy has SOOO much wasted potential!

South Park and Family Guy still have a good following, and to their credit they still have some good episodes. The opener to season eight of Family Guy is one of the best episodes of anything I've seen - but that could be because they deviated from their usual scriptwriting and had 21 minutes of Stewie and Brian locked in a room. South Park was good at the start but it got too political.

I know "Reincarnation," and I don't mind that one. The anime section is probably my favourite in that episode. I like the ones that make me think and have maths and science all through it. "The Why of Fry" from season four is a great example of this and stands as one of my absolute favourites. "The Farnsworth Parabox," "The Duh-Vinci Code," "Three Hundred Big Boys," "Roswell That Ends Well," and "Future Stock," among many others, are awesome episodes because they require some thinking and have great writing that ties it up well at the end.

No visitor messages? What the...? Well, let's change that, since I want to ask you a question. I remember you said you were upset at the cancellation of Futurama. So am I, actually. It's a clever show with some killer episodes. What are some of your favourite episodes?

Out of interest, what were the pain killers? I've had a similar social relieving feeling, almost a high, from nurofen + codeine, but these have been noted as addictive

Hi, I read your post about the cat and my heart always weeps for injured or ill animals. Might the vet be able to prescribe an appetite stimulant, liquid form? You can try warming the food, adding some broth, fish oil or a cooked egg. Best of luck

Yeah I seem to always be going through some kind of rough patch, lol. I'm not doing that bad, I'm about to pass english class and i'm in a better position than I have been in many instances actually. But when I'm feeling crap I come to here for support, so that side shows up more than the other
