You're doing amazingly, most people come on here and are really shy, it takes time for them to feel comfortable enough to make friends, i was like that when i first joined. I've been on SPW for about 4 years i think, i had another account before this one. I decided to leave, but couldn't stay away lol

Heck yeah man...I love me some 'Master of Puppets'. I grew up on guitar by trying to be Kirk Hammett so bad it's not even funny. When I play guitar it is super obvious that he is one of my main influences. I get the Wah-Wah going with crazy bends and dive bombs and finger tapping all Hammett style...lol
My two favorite bands of all time are Led Zeppelin and the old school 80's version of Metallica. I love tons of bands and artists though...Pink Floyd, Clapton, Van Halen, Megadeth, Green Day, STP, Alice in Chains, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Nirvana, Bush, Creed, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Tool....etc etc....LOL. I like a good deal of newer bands music too but I have to admit I don't know them from one another because a lot of bands sound alike today in Hard Rock and Metal.
I know what you mean. As crazy as it sounds my guitar has been my best friend a lot of times. There are some emotions that you can only release through some artistic form. I love old school 70's and 80's hard rock and blues and there is nothing like putting all your heart and soul into making your guitar sing and sometimes scream.
Yeah dude...I've been playing guitar for about 16 years. Played lead guitar in a lot of local bands and stuff....I almost went totally professional but put everything on hold to get a college degree. Now most of my contacts are gone so I just play for the fun and passion now. Looks like you have a nice strat there man....been playing long?

Likewise.I like Deftones, Slipknot, Tool and the like. I also like Deathcab and a lot of alternative types. Metal and punk makes me all hyped up, what with all those mosh pits and all... lol you can email me if you want, I'm blowing up the visitor board.I really like The Silver Seas, Two Door Cinema Club, The Whigs, Earl Greyhound, and The Black Keys. These are indies bands, so I hope you like them. Some of them have an old school sound to them. Daft Punk and The Faint are cool electronica bands. I think Kanye collaborated with Daft on a song before. If you have any new band recommendations let me know -
