Afraid I'll never find a girlfriend

I am so afraid I'll never find a girlfriend who loves me for me being me. I have social phobia and plus i am transgender. (Female to Male) I am different and I wish I was a normal born male. I am afraid I will never find love. Love is so beautiful and i hope i won't end up alone. :crying:

Do I look male enough ? Hope I pass as a guy.

I feel so sad,, i want to find love but i guess it's impossible because im DIFFERENT with this stuff

You've got good genetics when it comes to looks, you were a good looking girl and now you're a good looking guy. Your features allow you to ascribe to either gender convincingly.

Do you have any FTM trans dude friends? I ask because I have a couple, much closer to your age than mine, and maybe it would help to be in touch with someone who has shared your experience. One of them is pretty shy, and has been on hormones for about a year, and just married his girlfriend. So it's definitely something you can achieve.

I think people should be free to be who they truly are inside so good luck with this transition.To be honest as you know it's hard finding acceptance but it is possible if you look in the right places.I know there are bars,etc that are gay and transgender friendly in some big cities.Depending were you live that may be an option.

Online dating is an option since there are transgender dating sites but a lot of research is needed to find a good legit one.

I wonder if it's harder or easier going from male to female than the other way in terms of acceptance,dating etc.I personally find women and transgender women attractive.Dating either would be okay with me

Learn to meditate. It's a life changer for our social lives. You become able to relax anywhere, and accept yourself. You can take classes online (hackself,org) or in person (tm). Best of luck, and be consistent. I do it for 10 mins a day, and it works wonders.

I've always had the understanding that saying stuff like, "You really pass as, X or O" is really disrespectful, but sense you asked. Yes, you do look like a male, I saw the picture first and yes, I did think you were a born male.

Don't think it's always a bad thing so not be in a relationship. I felt so left out during school. No friends, much less any boy that would be interested in me. I didn't get a boyfriend until I was 19 years old. The relationship was horrible, and sometimes I wish I never had any relationships. On the good side (Only had 2 and both were bad) I got a lot of red flags to look out for, etc.

You will find someone. This is coming from a female (I feel like there's mostly males in this site) you are hella cute.

I'm pretty much in the same boat, and i kinda look transgender too.
Basically i think i'm F*CKED unless i find a girlfriend, to guide me, show me the way - the way to live life. As otherwise i'll stay stuck in my rat-hole for the rest of my life, not "living". I need sby to help me constantly, as my fear-based habits are firmly entrenched.

I was only complementing him, shall i just not bother saying anything nice then? Obviously personality plays a part but he asked about his appearance and i was merely giving my opinion

I agree with what everyone else has said, I saw your picture and automatically assumed you were male; nothing to worry about there and sure u'll find love eventually

Im sure you will find someone. But remember, having a partner doesn't automatically fix things of how you may feel low in self-esteem. You gotta work on that yourself. Be able to accept and fully feel good in your own shoes for being yourself and all the other things in your life first you know.

A lot of women wouldn't give a sh** about the transgender stuff, i wouldn't tho i'm no woman. In fact i had a "crush" on Jaimie Wilson and he's a transgender man; if i knew i man i fell in love with and said man told me he's transgender, i wouln't care at all.

To me being a man is more than being born with a penis, and i'm sure a lot of women think the same. If a man (born man, so you understand) lost "those parts" /ouch in an accident, would he be less man? coz i don't think so.

So don't worry about being trans, you are (as i said) a good looking man, and as Grapevine said, dont get obssesed about finding a girlfriend, just live your life and work on "fixing" that SA because THAT is the real obstacle in finding that what you seek (not only a girlfriend) and not the fact of being transgender.

Good luck and you'll see how eventualy you'll find someone!
