Saw this video this morning:

* DELETED WRONG VIDEO *

Interesting that the comments are disabled. I've never seen this happen on any other TED Talk and I think that is BS.

To be honest, i never looked for anything saying they condemned the actions of ISIS. It looks like it'd make the front page when they speak out condemning it, or maybe its not supposed to look as if they are? Media can be swayed or have their own agenda. Blood and guts sells news. Nobody wants to read about the ice cream social down at the Baptist church i reckon.

Good job Googling. It's silent here.
I'm not sure what you're expecting from your local Muslim community. They're certainly not obligated to protest anything.
Asking a valid question insinuates guilt? No.
Okay, so why did you ask the question? Sure sounded like you were speculating about Muslims in general being sympathetic to ISIS.

I quit watching any of the mass-media "news" sites a good while back. Getting any serious information on anything requires digging, and comparing the reports of the opposing propaganda sites against each other. Quite a few events that are truly serious and relevant to the public are skipped over by all of them and get little or no coverage at all. It's tiresome, and I can usually do little about the events anyway. I mostly just do the work before I go to the voting booth.

I certainly am speculating if they are being sympathetic to ISIS- which is different than an outright condemnation of guilt. Silence can be questioned as passively condoning. At the least, I would expect them to have some sort of desire of separating themselves from ISIS, but we don't see this going on. I'm not insinuating guilt, it is a valid question and I'm not going to feel guilty for asking it.

So, to be clear: all over the world Muslims are speaking out against ISIS, but because there hasn't been a Muslim protest against it right where you are, you're figuring the locals might be sympathetic to them or passively condoning them?

I give up.

Omg. That crazy maid just gave me her phone number! Eew! Well I've been able to duck her overtures for the last month or more. I'm sitting in my truck in the parking lot having a beer on break time and she knocks on the window till i roll it down and then she wants to get in the truck with me and I said "you're good right where you are" and she said "ha ha ... i wanna give you something..." and i hit the button to make my phone light up and acted like i had a phone call so i rolled up the window and continued talking into my phone until she walked away. Good God girl! Have some tact, huh? Oh... my... gosh! Why not just verbally rape me why dontcha!? :banghead:

Luckily there were two employees that seen her come knock on the truck window. I told them to remember what they'd seen. Just in case. You're right though i should've recorded it.

Vlog 6.... or 7? anyway, my vlog about dating and my rant about the woman with a crush on me.

I liked the video jc. I remember when I used to put up with that crap when in my younger days, but now that I have gotten older I can only tolerate someone's persistence even though the answer has already been said as in "NO" I'm not interested. I remember this one guy I had given my phone number to and wished I had not. He just kept on being desperate that I finally had to be blunt and speak my mind " I told him if he bothered me one more time he was gonna be cussed out". He did leave me alone but then would send a text every now and then always saying " How are you?" I would ignore those.. because honestly I don't think he wants to know how I am doing especially when it comes to him. That sucker pulled up beside me at a red light the other night blowing the horn and wanting me to look.. I looked alright, with the most mean damn look anyone could give. Sometimes you have to resort to being ugly if nothing else gets the point across. :bat:

No, they are pretty unheard of unless you really search for it. I think that is pretty clear, you just don't agree with it. Just like most of my opinions.

Started watching your vid then I paused it when Obama came on. Please don't be offended by that. :giggle:

You are not ugly!!! I don't know, maybe I only see the inner-you? I wish there were more guys like you in this world- just straight forward, loyal, kind, sensible, hard-working, and devoted. I love how you talk about your wife. It is so refreshing to hear. When you wrote that story the other night about setting the tent on fire you ended it with coming back home to your wife and being very happy with her. That was like the bow on top! Someday I hope to have a husband like that. You are very lucky to have each other.

What is with that housekeeper, though? Haha... either oblivious or brazen. Yeah, I think you should just spell it out to her.

Thanks for another great vlog.
