Most common reason for a break up

- Not earning enough money
- Too shy (apparently)
- Didn't get along with their friends
- Too courteous
- Job wasn't sophisticated/fancy enough

And yes - I am not making this up or basing it on conjecture - I have been told this more than once.

What about you? What stupid reasons did people dump yo ass for...?

Common reasons?

I never been confronted, someone didn't even have the balls to say something to me. The End.

No one has ever really given me a reason for these kind of things.

I wouldn't call all those reasons you listed stupid though.

Does anyone have any experiences with incompatibility, too high expectations, cheating, superficiality, emotional/physical abuse? That sort of stuff...? I know it's personal but I am still interested to know, if you are willing to share.

I've only been broken up with once... (well, twice by the same person)
The second time, I wasn't given a reason but I suppose it was:
a) I'm too 'mature'
b) I'm physically ill

One was because I got in too much trouble in high school. Another was because I didn't have enough money to buy her stuff all the time, I made $5.15/hr then, come on! Another girl broke it off because she didn't like my friends. And yet another one said it was because she found out that I use Skoal, I never tried to hide it.

Many many years ago, a guy I dated for a short while broke up with me and naturally I asked why. The response was, "because you're Asian." :eek:

I'm half Asian and half Caucasian by the way, but I guess for him I wasn't Caucasian enough. Such a lame excuse. Not even mildly creative.

I didn't fit in with his Catholic family,(nonreligious) & I wasn't full blood Italian, or a professional career woman type.

My marriage, ended because I didn't want to have children.

"You're getting to be too much trouble." -This was my last horrible dating experience. It occurred because I had the nerve to point out to him that he'd not even been over to my place once. After having dated him for over two months.... I hung up, & never called again.

I never had a date, I never had a girlfriend, I never had a break up, etc.

But, I think lack of love and no expectations of getting that love back is a good reason to break up.

It may sound obvious, but in a lot of cases people don't break up because they are scared to be alone.

Yea I've got HH nd like hell would I go out for a meal so my ass got shut down I've had 2 surgerys nd now waiting to find my better half :) **** its only abit sweat

I've only been in one relationship in my life and she dumped me cuz she was getting bored with me. I guess that happens after dating someone for 4 years
