BlackSheep, it sucks having the expectation on you like that, but you wouldn't want to be neglected like Invisibleman. A balance of appreciation and encouragement, while not being held to any standard, is the best balance parents can make.

This is true and in no way meant to minimize what InvisibleMan in going through. Just pointing out that the shoe can also be on the other foot, so to speak!

Mikey, I love all women;)! You know this already! When a woman has a problem, Deadman's gonna step up and get rid of it because I love it when women are happy!

Ah, yes, I'm aware of that as well. My family expects so much out of me; I have to be a pseudo-deity or else hell will come down on me. I need to have all A's and B's or something's wrong and I'm slacking. It's stressful and it really irritates me sometimes. I wish I could be free of those shackles and have them see that I'm capable of fault as well and that I can't always make perfect grades. Oh well! A girl can dream, can't she::p:?

It's too bad you can't tell them you're capable of failing some things. Do you think that maybe they're trying to get you to do what they couldn't, so they're inadvertently pushing you too hard to succeed?

I once had an interview where the boss asked the question:
Would you rather have not had a job while going to school and gotten all A's and B's, or have worked and gotten B's and C's? I answered the latter. The boss said this was his choice as well. Life isn't always about grades - there's so much to learn that's not in a textbook!

You're correct. They told me that to my face. It still doesn't make them do it any less!

Yeah, there's a lot more to life than just books! There's stuff out there that can only be learned in da streets! Like women;)! I'm going to learn all about women and what makes them so "crazy and confusing"::p:, then make a book on it, and sell it for an exorbitant fee! It's brilliant!

Terrible. I'm currently trying to trap down on my meds to avoid some annoying side effects. I'm having huge mood swings and I feel seriously unstable, I hate this.

Starting a new part-time job tomorrow. Excited to wear my new smart clothes and get back into paid work but also scared that I don't have the brain capacity for it haha.. not that it's overly complex, just that I'm a overly thick :p

I feeling tired from walking back from the store.
I also had a weird conversation with my sister and she told me about how she does pot. I never know she did things like that...I knew my oldest sister did but not her.
