How are you feeling?

Yessss. My bf's company's christmas party. We are driving separately so I can skip out early though. ::p: I have a good excuse because I have to get up early to go to work.
The only good thing is, I got to get dressed up for it. :)
My hands are shaking!

Well, try to calm yourself down right now and, when you're on the road, make sure to maintain that serenity. The best way would be to not think about the party and distract yourself with as many thoughts as possible. As Mikey said, I'm sure you'll do fine! Good luck out there and bring me back some food if you can:rolleyes:! A christmas cookie would be nice, especially those sugar cookies with the icing on them;)!

I honestly feel like even this forum is becoming more and more like my real life. I honestly sit here and have nothing to say,I used to post on here daily now its like once every 3 days.
A lot of times I have nothing to say either so I just post whatever comes to my mind in the random thoughts thread :p
If you don't feel like posting so much, I don't think there's nothing wrong with it, just do what you feel like doing :)

Lonely. These past couple days I've been craving for social interaction. I actually just got done hanging out with my brother for the day. For the last three months he's been putting up with having to take me to and from college and even come deliver stuff for me. So today since he was coming down (yet again), I decided to take him out to lunch. He deserves it. I had a good time, and actually made my own order today without stumbling over a single word or getting all embarrassed. (Phoenixx = 1; Anxiety = 0 ;)) My brother and I can actually be decent human beings to each other once in a while, and have a nice, ridiculous, and funny conversation without leading to an argument. It's just rare.
Sorry you're feeling lonely Phoenixx *hugs*
You know you can talk to me whenever you want :)
Plus:
If I was there, Phoenixx, I would hang out with you.
Ditto :D
Btw I'm glad things went well with your brother.
The relationship between me and my brother is slowly deteriorating. We never fight ever, but he has a girlfriend of 4+ years and he's doing a course, so he's studying a lot, so he has very little time for me now. It's his birthday on Friday so I'll try to take him out for lunch.
Sorry to hear that... Hope you have fun when you see him again! Once he finish his course he will have more time, so you can spend more time with him. Things can get better if you both want it :]

Feeling pretty down. I haven't been on here in a while, I figured I was getting better! But I'm just feeling pretty lonely, since leaving college I have lost touch with all my friends, they all have their groups they have gone off too and I've unintentionally just ended up on my own. Its a tough situation because I want them to invite me out but if they did I wouldn't go because I couldn't take the socializing :/
So I've apparently not got as far as I thought!
Take your time, Lucy. If you had friends you can find new ones! Just try to be yourself and don't give up, okay? :)
And if someone tell you to invite you out, as Mikey said, try to fight your negative thoughts and have fun, things may become better than you expect.
Depression is like quicksand and I can feel myself slowly sinking in to it. Once I get tomorrow out of the way and my holidays start, I should be able to crawl back out and try to enjoy my pathetic life again.
end of rant.
I don't know you personally, but for what I know your life is not pathetic at all.
Try to spend your holidays doing those things you enjoy. Read a nice book, try to find a good movie or something. Videogames always help :D
With the appropiate attitude you may find that you can actually enjoy your life :)
(wow, that didn't seem like one of my lines, lately XD)

You have a way to escape, cool :D
Anyway, I hope you have fun while you're there!

PS: sorry for triple posting, I wanted to do it all together but it was too long and I couldn't use 11 smileys at the same time lol

Same for me, too.

I would like him to spend more time with me but I know that won't happen. He's 23 now and is developing his own life away from me, which I can understand and appreciate, but I wish he would still make a little bit of time for me.

We still live under the same roof but most of his spare time is spent with his girlfriend. I don't know if he wants to make time for me.

Never mind. We don't fight so that's got to be good.

Just came back from a party at my best friend's house. I feel so unattractive, so boring, so awkward. I just hate how I behave, I hate that no guy takes interest in me after they see how awful my personality is. Sorry for writing all this, sorry for my problems which are pathetic. I just hate feeling like this, so useless, so unappealing.

Hope everyone's Saturday night turned out better:)

Your problems aren't pathetic. I think that you're like me: you can't stop thinking about stuff. Just take a deep breath, when you're in a social situation, and just stop thinking about everything, let everything go and just act as you normally would. It's kinda hard to do and harder to teach when we're not seeing each other in person; I think that the best way to do it is to just "feel" the thoughts "ooze" out of your body. I'm sure that you're more attractive and interesting than you think. Don't hate yourself so much; how can anyone see beauty and interest in you when you don't see it yourself? Believe in yourself, okay?

Trying to get over a soulless, emotionless bitch I had a crush on. I also lost a "friend" because of this. **** them both.

Pretty decent. I just took my biology final and got an 83, which was above the minimum score I needed to get a B in the class.

Being in a social situation like that, where you're expected to be loud and obnoxious, is very difficult. Eventually you'll start to relax and you can get involved in the situation a little more. :)

You're problems are not pathetic. Furthermore, I've seen your pictures and you're far from unattractive or unappealing.

I could get so much more accomplished if I didn't require sleep :p
We all could! Although I'd probably waste all my time haha.

meh.

...the SpikeTV videogame awards is kindof interesting... seeing some previews for upcoming games; not really interested in 90% of their guests, and most of everything else is bullcrap. haha
I feel mostly... dizzy and sick
and uninterested in breathing. Too bad it's reflex.

^ Just studying... And definitely thinking too much, but that's common for me.

While I commend your efforts in studying, it's also important to know when to rest so your mind can truly absorb the material. As for your overthinking problem, maybe you should do something to calm yourself down and just, more or less, shut down your brain and send it into "instinct mode".
