those mountains do look pretty! I had no idea. They look really high!

They sure do. Wish I'd taken the picture a few weeks earlier when they were covered with the most snow I'd ever seen thus far that was brought in by a passing storm cell at the time. They are pretty high. I think the highest peak, San Gorgonio Mountain, is a little over 11,000 feet. Looks especially nice during the winter. I'll be sure to get a few more shots once the snow comes in again :)

I took this one of my street a while back sometime during the winter. I love how part of the San Bernardino mountains came out in the background. This is as nice as the scenery gets around here though.

Im so jealous if I look at these pictures , here in the netherlands nothing but ugly houses and buildings , no sun most of the time , rainy and no nature with beautifull landscapes to chill out live would be so different for me as SA person if I lived in there in some of the photo's posted above

I can't find any pictures of the town that I live in.... but here is a picture of the beach that is a 30 minute bike ride away

As pretty as that water is, it usually looks more like this...

I just wanted to update my pics and say, "It's gonna rain, ya'll!!!!" It hasn't rained in forever, it seems. This is the field surrounded by my street and the golf course behind it. And the rain behind that! :)

You all live in some very beautiful places. Kinda makes my flat, boring cornfields feel silly.

You should be keeping your head down.

Luckily the riots (which i assume you are talking about) missed Islington! we had a few people looting but absolutely nothing compared to the scale of other areas! But i always keep my head down anyway lol

Wow tigerlilja , you are extremely lucky , i envy you.

I have a tiny balcony shared with my neighbor and a very scenic view of a brick wall and dumpsters.

aww thanks :) But it does have its downsides...it's hard to find work that pays well, and up to half the year the ground is covered in snow, you can get sick of it quickly.

Don't worry , i'm from Canada , and the snow here in the city is always brown , haha.

I work from home , but there is plenty of work where i live , maybe we can switch ?

So... beautiful...

Oh how I'd really love to move out there. Any idea if there are any houses nearby for sale?? :D

Unless you have an extra room in your house to spare ;) ::p:
