Yeah your a cool guy for being nice and letting them know they can be alittle loud.
Now they are abusing that? Thats not cool of them, and yeah if there waking you up that definitly gives you the right to be upset. Just talk to them again and tell em that there waking you up. Be nice, calm, cool and collected again, like its no big deal you just would rather not be woken up

I had the same issue with my neighbors.. who moved out a few days ago =)
violence/threats was the key to my success.

Allthough your neighbor is a female... so dont do the violence/threats thing :p

perhaps just ask her nicely to shut her pie hole when she gets home...

I think you have a right to be angry but you should never let anyone push u out of ur own house....you pay for your living space just as much as she does and you should confront her and tell her how you feel about the situation....don't be mean about it.....just say something like "I'd appreciate if you could keep it down while I'm trying to sleep" or even go the safe route and say you need your sleep for school so if she could at least be quiet during the weekdays? Idk....just don't overreact calm urself down then figure out a nice way to tell her how you feel....just let her know she can't step all over u...

You moved out of the house to show that that you were bothered by her noise making? What makes you think that she'll connect your moving out of the house with her behavior? Personally, I don't think you're being nice for telling her that it's okay to make noise, all the while being pissed off at her for it.

If you act like the innocent, nice guy and tell her that it's alright for her to make noise at those late hours, why would she think otherwise? Sure, it's common sense and courtesy to keep the noise level down at certain hours, but you can't expect people to read your mind or understand that you're mad just because you're at the window smoking a cigarette. You could have saved yourself a lot of trouble by telling her to keep quiet.

You feel that she has an "I'm pretty so I can do whatever I want" air? If she wasn't pretty, would you still feel the same? I'm not saying that she ought to be a loud-mouth in the wee hours of the morning, but I don't see how that has anything to do with her looks.

Perhaps you need to stop trying to seem like a "nice guy" and speak up. Putting up with an unpleasant situation when it gets to the point where you're planning on moving out does not make you a "nice guy".

Some people will be rude. Some know that they are rude and don't care, while others don't realize they're being rude or that they're bothering you. If you don't speak up and let your feelings be known then you have no one else to blame but yourself. You can't expect people to read your mind.
