All narcissism means is thinking very highly of oneself. I don't see that as a bad thing. In fact, it's shows that you can be confident in yourself.

haha ya, now that I think about it, people hide behind narcissism as a way to hide their insecurities. But like you said, from what I've noticed vj is way to considerate to be considered one.

Mixed feelings.
I finally put in my first IV/IA catheters today (yay!), but not on a human XD not for another couple years. I also finalized and submitted my thesis proposal, hopefully it gets accepted by the committee.
But... I've been pretty depressed about my social situation recently. I can't communicate like how I want to or with who I'd like to. And it just seems to be getting worse, no matter what I do.
...like I said, mixed, which is better than most days.

I have only heard second hand. They can be hard to get a long with. From your statement I should know if I meet one as if night from day?

angry, and losing more faith in people as i grow older. My goals keep me going, my philosophy keeps me driven in the pursuit of truth, but people... somewhere along the line many of us humans have lost the capacity for deep thought. im also sad, because i thought i could spread new ideas to people, and it is becoming obvious that it takes a special kind of person to understand the world on a higher level. I am not more intelligent then any one, i am not wiser then any one. I am simply a deep thinker, and a philosophical thinker.

I was thinking about all the people i have encountered along the way, and how they always fail to see the point. much like you did. SO yes while you renforced my feelings this was not targeted at you. Also it was not satisfieing at all

I didn't fail to see any point. I failed to agree, but I didn't fail to understand anything. If you're saying I didn't see the point then you are targeting me, and everyone else who isn't by your side in your tower. We could simply agree to disagree on these matters. Seems best at this point as it's only going to go in circles.

yeah thats exactly how i see myself. im in a tower looking down on all of you,now that certainly aint shallow thinking. no im looking down on all of those people who wouldnt care to save there race. wether you agree or not, at the end of the day, when it comes down to decisions i have made. i am not questioning my morality, are you?

Now you're passively calling me amoral. This isn't about morality, this is about personal liberties and mentalities. Save the human race from what? How? How does someone not ending their suffering "save" the human race? If they wanted to end it that way, fine. You know, some people did quite a bit for humanity before taking their life. Live and let live and die.
