Yes, we all know birth control works 100% of the time. ;)

And that's why I added "just the physical effects", I didn't get into the emotional side of sex.

No one said it work's 100% and yes they can break, but you can get hit by the bus if you cross the road.Sex can be a wonderful thing even when it isn't in a relationship. And birth control is pretty good these days,if the girl is on the Pill a guy uses a condom, and the girl takes the morning after pill then you have more chance of winning the lottery than getting better probably.

Y'now I totally respect peoples decision not to choose certain life styles, but why try and judge other people for choosing there's..

...People are rarely as noble as their intentions when an opportunity presents itself to live up to them...

Great reply/post, dude. And just to add another thought along these lines...

Things we hold as dear and preciousness can lose some of their rarity over time.

Say you have a rare, ancient gold coin - you may keep it in a special locked box and never let anything touch it, etc...

What happens when you have 2,000 gold coins exactly like it? do you still treat each and every one of them the same as you did when you thought it was the only one you'd ever have?

I figure that in the last 25 years, I've had at least 2,000 sexual encounters.

I'm not bragging - that only averages out to less than twice a week. Most of that time I was married or in a relationship, so the vast majority of encounters were with only three different women.

I love sex. It is a precious and beautiful thing for me.

But it is safe to say that I do not view the act of sex in the same way as i did when I was a wide-eyed 20 yr old virgin.

Men are also feeling the impact from the new sexual tactics being employed by women.

The Sunday Star-Times' Being a Bloke survey last year found that 29% of the 5000 men surveyed felt they had been pressured into having sex or had had sex unwillingly.

I think "had had sex unwillingly" is mildly amusing, maybe because I've been under the impression that men can f*ck around without any kind of emotional attachment. Blame the media.

Anyways... wow, who woulda thought? The first thing I think of when someone mentions New Zealand is the sheep.

The same could be said about boys becoming men. Your statement is lacking a lot of insight and thought.

You're not automatically a whore just because you like to have sex.

Isnt that just like britain?

Pretty much, our culture seems to consist of most people going up town on a weekend to "pull".Obviously not everyone goes to pull..some just like a night out with mates,or a few drinks and shoot some pool ect

And it isn't just us,It's the same in most places In Europe and many other places.

Well, that puts a bit of a damper on my dream of moving to NZ someday. I wouldn't wanna live there and have people assume I was looking for 'fun' ... Although I think I'd be staying in Auckland to write/direct stage-plays. But still ... :/
