Are you satisfied with your appearance?

I certainly am not, though I feel a bit more comfortable now that I'm down to 210 lbs from 280. It's a huge relief though I still hate how I look. I'm hairy, pale, have bad oily skin, and tangled long hair.

At this point my depression has sank in so deeply that I really couldn't give a shit about my appearance.

How do you feel about your appearance? Are you content with it? Or do you drastically want to alter it?

I don't constantly feel like altering it and I can say that in general, I am OK with the way I look. I do try to keep the fat away as much as possible. I tend to be lazy and going to the gym is pretty tough to keep up with, but I still do it since it is part of this new approach I am taking to my SA.

I do have some days that I hate the way I look and like OP said, couldn't care less about my appearance but so far, this happens quite sporadically.

Are you OK with feeling this way and just leaving it like that OP?

No, I'd like to change but I know it wouldn't make a difference when it comes to my SA.

I think pale skin looks nice, hairy is masculine, oily skin is better than many other skin conditions, and you can always brush or comb your hair.

Eh. My appearance is average, but nothing special.
I'm a nerd with glasses. *lol* I don't know... ordinary?
Never have I received any flirtations and luckily no
sexual harassment, so I'm thankful for that.. hm...

I'm somewhat satisfied with my appearance. There are some things I would love to change (such as acne/oily skin), but other than that, I'm okay with how I look.

I am never satisfied if I'm honest.

I guess it is worth working on to a certain extent, as being fit and healthy makes you feel better and gives you more confidence but im also aware that a lot of mine is in my head.

I recommend working out/running anything like that. It releases endorphins which makes you feel better, you'll have done something productive with your day and you'll start to look better.

I also recommend yoga. I love it. Don't want to sound like a slogan but it seems to be good for my mind and my body :)

I wish I was more fit and "more tan". It helps me when I work out and get a tan because it gives me more self confidence (since I'd look better to women) and when my self confidence/self esteem is higher, my social anxiety decreases.

I'm like a bear in reverse. I stay out of sight during the summer and put on a little weight because I'm mostly inside out of the heat.

Then autumn rolls around, and I feel like getting out and being active again (due in some part to the fact that most 'normals' tend to move inside more during cooler weather, ha ha) and then I get back into shape pretty quickly.

My appearance and how I feel like I look help somewhat with my phobia, as it seems like one less thing on the pile to worry about when I'm looking my best.

Not after I just saw Megan Fox's pictures from Rolling Stone. ;) I'm about to watch 'Jennifer's Body'. I'm going to have to grin and bear it when I watch it with my husband because as much as he says he doesn't think she's "all that" he's probably lying because we both know that she is hotter than me. :) I have no problem admitting when I find a guy attractive. Don't know what the big deal is.

I think I look pretty. There's a few things I'd wanna change, but who doesn't wanna change one or two things about themselves?

Off topic but I wanted to jump in on the Megan Fox thing. I was going to see Jennifer's Body because she interviewed saying it was a lot like Heathers, which is one my favorite movies. Then I saw the trailer and was thinking "This isn't even worth a speck of mud on the bottom of Heathers's shoe."

Winona Ryder, she ain't.

I would love to change the way I look... I think if I looked more like Brad Pit, then maybe I would get a few dates in before I die of old age... But with my ugly mug, and my adipose tissue growing in abundance... With persistent asthma I cannot exercise like I want to, and getting older the metabolism is about as slow as it can get.

I don't see how those two move are alike. 'Jennifer's Body' sucked afterall. I stopped watching it after about half an hour. MF was easy on the eyes though.

No..I haven't been able to bring myself to look at myself in 5 months or so. I literally have no idea what I look like anymore.

I've covered all the mirrors and cameras around and have learned to deal with reflective surfaces, anticipating their appearance and taking appropriate evasive action.

Megan Fox is my idea of real beauty.

Not satisfied at all. If I could I'd change every single thing about my appearance. Unfortunately that would require millions of dollars in surgery or just waking up one day and being someone else so I'll never be happy with how I look, lol

Sometimes I think I'm ugly, sometimes average and sometimes I'm amazed at how hot I am :D It's weird, really.

Me too. I've actually learned to shave without looking in the mirror because I don't want to look at myself.
