Drink chamomile tea and talk about Miley Cyrus? Count me in.
^Ooh! How about a Tupperware party with some Justin Bieber playing softly in the background?
^ I have a theory on that but am reluctant to post it because I don't want to start WWIII! :bigsmile:Single males dominate these sites, apparently. It's no surprise that there are many singles, but I wonder why there are most males...
^Your not the only one who was successfully duped by him, Opal. Me too :/Yeah, he was... yikes. Actually, I was completely duped. I think he played the part really well, with his video logs and everything. I never would have suspected.

Actually, it's not that there are more males, it's just that a higher proportion of the males are single. As I'm typing this, the results so far are as follows:
Male, currently in a relationship: 5, 9.80%Male, currently single: 22, 43.14%Female, currently in a relationship: 10, 19.61%Female, currently single: 14, 27.45%That's 27 men and 24 women in total. Roughly half and half. Now, that's not exactly a lot of votes, but it will be interesting to see if it evens out with more votes or if those proportions more or less stay like that. 81.48% of the men who have voted are single, while 58.33% of the women who have voted are single. 70.59% of all voters so far are single.
:reading:*nerd snort* I like stats and surveys!
Typically, men are supposed to be the pursuer when it comes to dating. Women are far more likely to be asked out, and thus, start a relationship. A lot of men come to these websites specifically looking for a relationship, as if it were a dating site.

Interesting. I came here at the point of a mental crisis. Dating was the last thing on my mind.
^All of the above. I did say 5-10%.
We have 105 pages of reported posts going back to 2009 consisting of 5,387posts and 1,942 threads. That's the reported ones. We do see patterns in certain users behaviour and have off the record complaints more often than this. Though no proof given and we cant go off heresay. It's much more common that you think, not just here but all over the internet. I'm friends with mods on quite a few places. They say the same.
It's not wholly men doing this of course. though I'd put a figure of about 90% on that.
I don't want to spread paranoia of course but for myself I'm far more cautious than the 'wet behind the ears' Remus that was first connecting to the internet back in 2000.
