What is the size of the town you live in?

My brother was telling me this yesterday, how rent and buying houses in Western Australia is stupidly expensive these days (supply not meeting demand; mining boom). It's unfortunate because Perth is really lovely, from the one time I was there. Western Australia does have a lot of natural wonders, too.

It's getting expensive everywhere in Australia. I think I read somewhere the average household in Australia costs around $500000(AU$).

Yeah, that sounds about right. I can get cheaper around here, but to live somewhere decent, you're definitely looking at half a million dollars. Pretty crazy!
