What is the point of living?

Just what is the point when you can't relate to anyone? I truly feel like I do not belong in this world. Day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year, it is the same thing, it's me vs the world. There is no "getting over it". It is what it is.

The reason I joined this forum is because i saw a post and someone had written that life just feels like an endurance test...it really summed up how I felt.

I find it hard to see the point everyday.

It seems that I am on a whole different planet from everyone. I have never been able to form relationships. I never have anything in common with people. I'm sick of seeing everyone else enjoy their lives while I am always alone. The best that I can do is fake myself to be something I am not until that doesn't work anymore. I feel that I have no reason to exist.

you're a slave to money and corporations then you die once you reach adulthood, all the rest inbetween is up to us to make use of and to enjoy or not enjoy. life is a tarp. you just have to find activities that interest you so you don't waste too much time. develop your sense of humour whenever you can.

Some day you truly realize that things aren't going to get better and maybe in that you scrape a little meaning in what you do have. I enjoy fictional media. Staying alive to see the next big movie or play the next big game to step outside my mind for a while is what keeps me going.

I don't really see the point of life either. As far as i see everyone's aim is to make money/have a career, get married, have children. Because of sa i can't live a normal life therefore what's the point?

Well I don't really know. It seems that life is all we have. I live in the hope that someday my life will turn around and improve.

The point of living is to be a positive person. Even when you think life is shit and it's not gonna get better, the ride is a lot less worse if you just stay positive.. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some bible-thumping Christian.. in fact, I don't belong to any religion. I just know that we're put here to try and become good people.

I suppose if you look at life in it's simplest form, like wild animals live. The point of living is to survive, overcome any problems and reproduce.

Have faith. There is someone out there who is the perfect fit to you, and meeting them could be right around the corner. There are a million ways to meet someone, so just because you can't imagine how, it doesn't mean it won't happen. I can't promise things will be straight forward once you've found them, though... I've found life is not simple that way.

I've never liked the question, "What is the meaning of life?" The title of this thread is much better, IMO, and the point of life from a basic scientific perspective would be to survive and multiply.
