Hmm what I'm grateful for other than having house and all that,,
- Having friends who understand and that I can talk about anything.
- Having the will to study which is really new to me.
- Being healthy

I have mentioned this in the past, but I am grateful to be Australian.

I look at the world and realise there are countries out there going to war or plagued with famine or there's oppressive governments and such. Then I look at my situation: born in a first-world country with beautiful beaches, the ability to buy bread and chocolate without fear of getting shot, my freedom to listen to heavy metal and wear their band shirts outside, to go out and mingle in various ways. There's a lot of countries that don't have these luxuries that I take for granted every single day.

While Australia is not immune to problems - high electricity prices, a lot of desert, etc. - I'm very grateful to be here. Second-best country to live in officially (behind Norway) and I should be more appreciative of that.

It makes my unhappiness seem futile and selfish when I think of it this way.

I am most grateful for my sister and boyfriend. Those two keep me together. I'd fall apart without them.

I am also grateful for all the beauty in this world.

And cheeseburgers and burritos.

I'm grateful that even though I'm horrid and mean, my family still loves me and treats me with respect. When I have a huge angry break down everyone just keeps quiet until I'm done .They recognize my problems without me having to tell them and give understanding more then they should. I don't know what I would do without them. They make me feel human and sympathize with me, which, is what I think keeps me sane.

I love my crazy Ass hole family, because they put up with me.
I assure you, with all my mood swings and madness, that's not easy.

I'm very, very grateful for my maternal grandparents. I love them to bits. (My granddad isn't around anymore but I miss him so much but I'll never forget how he did more for me than my actual father...)

I don't think Hidwell means being grateful to a entity, but rather the things around you that you're personally glad about being there.

Like for instance, I'm pretty stocked about this coffee right next to me.
