I remember asking someone this question before, many years ago. I think the answer was Star Trek. I haven't seen Star Trek only Star Wars, but I personally don't care. I watched Stargate Atlantis and SG1 and I think they're better than Star Wars.

The new Star Trek is exactly like Star Wars, but if you're talking about real Star Trek vs. Star Wars then Star Trek hands down.

Star Wars is just a goofy fantasy whereas Star Trek is actual sci-fi.

The history of Star Trek is unparalleled. I love every bit of it.

I really love the new actors in the last two movies.

Star Trek, because Stars Wars says "In a distant galaxy, long, long ago" or words to that effect, yet they speak English, so therefor it cannot be real, it must be fake

Defo Star Trek for me! Almost all of it is based on solid scientific principles, many which may be possible some day. Also the characters come across as far more real and genuine, and often funny too.

Star Wars is a bit fantasy and unrealistic. Although both shows are set in space, I don't think they have any similarities.

Isn't it great? Mr. Data and Mr. Spock......oh and I suppose Dr. McCoy are the ones who have always made me laugh the most.

I love both..
But I have to say star wars all the way.

C'mon
The force? Lightsabers? AT-AT's? speeder bikes? boba fett? land speeders?The deathstar?
No comparison.

I love both too, GhastlyCC.

However for me Star Trek is the best one of the two.
The richness of the characters makes it for me.
