Spacing Out?

Does anyone find they space out a lot? Whether in the middle of a conversation or just when in a social situation? I find I tend to become massively consumed in my thoughts and just forget everything around me. I guess this is bed when someone starts to talking to you and you're just like whaaa?
I had this today and everyone kept asking "Are you okay? What's up? You look in pain"
I hated it D:

Hmm, not really.. unless I've been thinking about other things/overwhelmed with info or options or such...

I may even say, 'Hey sorry, I wasn't listening/didn't catch this. Can you repeat it?/What did you say again?' Especially to family/relatives I may even say, 'I was thinking about something else/just let me write this down/do this as long as I still remember it, then we can talk...'

Definitely, but it's lessening a tad. Even now though, when I'm trying to completely concentrate on what someone's saying, I'll drift off. I really think it's a just a habit placed by years of depression/isolation/distance from others. I'm sure I'm gonna have to catch myself, and bring myself back a lot more too.

it happens to me all the time ppl prob think that your slow or suthin...lol

haha I think they do! I always have problems with my memory as well and can be quite dozy at times. I never used to be, I guess it's what anxiety does to you. Does play tricks with your noggin'!
People often think I'm arrogant as well when I am really not!

Yes, I sometimes look very depressed without meaning to. Someone then asks me what's up, as I have this look of extreme pain on my face lawl. Usually, though, no on suspects this because I've gotten quite good at looking like I'm listening, simple "Mm"s and "Yeah"s will suffice when I have absolutely no clue what they were on about. I guess I should start caring about conversation more

Huh? Sorry.

I don't think I space out, but I don't say much. And when I'm not actively concentrating on something I tend to listen to music in my head. So when people start talking to me they probably think I'm going deaf, since I always say "What was that?"

Oh yes all the time all though I kinda use the fact that I do space out on accident as an excuse to tune some people out haha

Yes, I space out all the time! No one seems to notice, but when they ask me a question I always don't know what they were talking about!
