what do you guys reckon? see im in 2 minds about it. the price of the blades are fkn ridiculous!! so you would save loads of money that way:)

the thing is though it does get really itchy sometimes which is really fkn annoying :mad: and then the actual shaving itself in a pain in the arse too.
im tired of going to the shop and then they ask me for ID to buy booze!!

so what do yous lot think about this?

So you mean the hair on your head right? I thought at first you was talking about pubes lmao! :eek:

I think unshaved is really nice on a guy! :D Sometimes the skin-head look can look really intimidating especially if you're a big bloke. :eek:


EDIT: Whoops, second time i thought you ment on your head, lmao. If this is facial hair then shaved is really sexy! :D a little facial hair is sexy too hehe! - and will make you look older IMO.

Haha yeah the title off this topic does seem to suggest something else,I have that annoying facial hair which grows back by mid day even if I have a clean shave in the morning.

Blades are bloody expensive these days and I feel scruffy if I let mine get too long,but you can get cheaper decent razors,just don't get cheapo ones or they will tear your face up..or what I prefer to do is just keep it trimmed with an electric one,they are expensive for a decent one but it saves you money in the long run.

Yeah cheap ones get blunted after half a shave :confused: Best bet is too look for an older model of a new razor..say a new mach whatever has come out,the older mach razor will be cheaper and still decent.

Or use an old school one,though if you cut yourself with one of these you will know about it...And I really wouldn't recommend them for all over body shaving lmao

I went to buy some replacement blades for my boyfriend the other day at Walmart. It was a pack of 8 blades and it was $17! Not only that, it was on the shelf with this huge plastic case surrounding the box and you had to take that to the checkout and wait for them to get a key from the office to remove the case for you. I guess alot of people are stealing them because of how expensive they are. If anyone lives around a CVS, I've heard their store brand with 3 blades works great and is alot cheaper. By the way I only let my boyfriend totally shave once a week. I looooove the stubble!

Go for it. If you don't like it you can always shave it off later. I have some facial hair, the coolest type of all. (a full goatee ::p:)

Same here. I can't afford the top of the line, but the cheapest just rips the hair out. I go for the next level up most of the time. They are still fairly cheap but they don't cut me up as bad. I'm about ready to buy what Dan suggested.

I hate the feel of a few days beard growth, it's irritating. so I shave it off every day with an electric razor and once a week I use a normal razor for a propper close shave. I'm just happy it doesn't come through ginger.

I look like a serial axe murderer with a beard. A few weeks ago I let it grow out to see how it'd look. Just awful! I had fun shaving designs into my face afterwards though. A goatee... A little swirl shape... A hitlerstache...

I use a Bruan shaver that has a trimmer -- meant to trim down longer hairs. I just use that on my face. Leaves me with a bit of stubble instead of totally smooth, but I like the look. And cheaper than buying new blades all the time!

I still use blades for manscaping though.

I can't stand having facial hair, way tooooooo itchy. Also I kinda look like wayne rooney with a beard, very bad times.
I shave every 2-3 days. Then you get the nice stubble which apparently the ladies like, this week anyways. And I get to use my Fusion razor often enough to keep me happy. Its so smooth and comfy :)

I haven't shaved for over a week now (out of laziness). It feels a bit strange running my hand over my face.
