Okay, u cant be AvPD avoidant in dreams lol

but do you have SA/SP in your dreams? When you encounter someone in your dream , do you feel stress, or dont know what to say - do you feel unconformtable>? I feel a lot like that in dreams, and as a result, i woke up exhausted o_0

Sometimes i have those dreams yeah.
But if i imagine something, it's all great, in my phantasy everything is easy.
Because that's my ''dream.'' ::p:

I really expect anyone who has SA to have it in their dreams as well. Your dreams reflect your true feelings, that's what I believe. I have noticed my feelings in my dreams are always consistent with the ones I have in reality. That doesn't mean what you DO in dreams is consistent with what you would DO in reality, just your feelings are. I have just thought that maybe if you didn't have SA in a dream, that would mean there would be an inconsistency in your dream, and you would probably realize you are actually dreaming (sometimes it happens that you seem to be aware you are dreaming).
These are just my hypothesis though.

Lol, that would be one place where i would dread SA creeping up on me. In my dreams i usually feel free to do anything i like. Conversation and communication seems pretty natural, even if it makes no sense when i think about it upon waking :D

Umm, no. I don't have SA in my dreams lol. I'm just a normal person. Wonder why you would have it but not me?

Sometimes yes, but mostly no.

I dont remember a lot of my dreams, but I've had quite a few where I've been back in school (despite being my current age - weird) and I've been pretty normal. I can only think of one or two dreams where Ive been socially anxious.

Dreams are escapism for me, even though I have many horrid dreams. I keep having the flying dream a couple of times a month, getting the hang of it now.

A lot, or even most, of my dreams are sort-of surreal, not even like reality. In a lot of them, I'm not even my actual self, but more like someone I would have been were it not for my SA, or even a completely different character completely. But in the ones where I'm me, totally, I do have SA. Unfortunately.

My dreams are weird; it feels sort of, like I am in another dimension. Some of my story ideas come from dreams.

I just woke from a big long dream....I was supposed to make a flight to England but I forgot all my luggage & ticket as well."ya stupid i know" how do you forget your luggage & ticket :) ...spent forever having to deal with ticket people & fumbling around trying to find my credit card...was realy a nitemare....then they finally realised I had already paid or something so I could still board plane to go...I was traveling with like a group of people of which I only knew one person that i can remember...well I then had 10 minutes to find plane....i had to ride a tram to the terminal & i was upset cause it was taking to long & my plane was leaving so I used some profanity at the tram driver... was a woman...so she was scolding me & giving me crap about swearing at airport personel & wouldnt stop yapping at me so I could run to find plane.... I could never find my plane...I missed it & had to go home...was long drawn out terrible dream with much more to it than what i wrote here but you know how dreams can be..all over the place.

I don't think I ever have SA in any of my dreams. Also my panic and agoraphobia and depression all disappear. It's weird!

Oh, well, then maybe if you don't have SA in your dreams... maybe you can really imagine life without SA, and therefore it should be "easy" to overcome it (not really easy, but let's say there's hope). I don't have much SA in my dreams either, but after all, I don't have much SA in real life either if I try to stay positive and I don't let myself be scared by other people. Sometimes it doesn't work though.

Exactly the same with me. Though nearly all of my story ideas & characters come from night dreams or daydreams. Some of my writings even take place in another dimension/alternate reality because of it.
