iv been dating this guy for about six months. we met online so i can check his stuff to see whether he has been using the site lately or not. he stopped using it after a month. we planned a sleepover and i had to cancel which was two days ahead of time. this is because of my wisdom teeth. right after i get them pulled then go online and read an email that says new matches. my profile is hidden and for fun, i just looked at the matches. and he was there with new photos and everything....he's like "i got a new big puppy" "im so athletic" blah... i'm so hurt right now. last date he almost said he loved me and now this.. i thought i loved him but really i'm just a sucker....

I'm sorry :(

he wasn't worth it. I'm going through similar stuff. Thought this girl liked me. She invited me over, we made out, and now she won't return my texts...

I'm sorry to hear that.It might be worth telling him that you know he has been still "advertising" despite the fact you guys had been planning this sleepover.I think you have every right to be hurt.

If he really does care for you he will realize he's made a very big mistake. Is this online site for dating only because maybe he was just trying to meet new contacts maybe?Though I'm not sure that would be anything but an excuse.

If he is the type of guy to go looking for new dates, just because you had to put something off, then I am glad you found this out now rather than another 6 months down the line, though I can appreciate right now the whole situation is just painful all together.

I'm very sorry to hear about what happened...I have one question you don't have to answer of course if you don't want to...when you say he almost said he loved you how did you know he was going to say that?

it's a plenty of fish site. sometimes i wish i met him somewhere else, because now if something doesn't go right, then he just runs on it. i was asked out by someone in rl and said no because i thought he really liked me back. ill talk to him about it but im just too pissed to give any contact. i was thinking of putting my profile up and just pretend i didn't notice his and see how he feels!!!! :D

I'm on plenty of fish too...I think 90% of people on there is a slut. Seriously. Or they just want people to think they're sexy and never do anything with them...

What... the... hell?..

Maybe it's better that I've never been in a relationship D:

well.. there are times where it's like the best feeling ever being with someone..but for the most part it messes with your mind..the point is if you decided to go out with someone.. end it at three months or it just goes downhill..jp idk relationships aren't that great and if you never had one ..try it out.. but really its just confusing, filled with games, some honest fun, affection, but then you wonder if this is real or not....

it all comes down to the sex eventually. Because everything gets old after a while.

My parents aren't in love anymore. They've just been together so long that there's no point in leaving each other now. That's what 99.9% of couples become.

edit: 420 posts ;) think I'll leave it here for a while

i just can't bring myself to join a site like that... too sketchzo, lol

that's how i felt before. there would be people looking to just hookup when i said i wasn't interested, then got mean emails lol. other than that i actually have had better luck on the site then dating from real life. As long youre careful like talk on the phone, webcam, for a few weeks, and meet one and one in a public place. then after a good few meetings you can just delete your profile..

Is having sex the most important thing to a guy?

Dating on line sounds hard.
How do you know you are attracted to someone on line? I mean you can see their picture, but you can't see their energy, or how their face lights up or blushes or anything like that. You can see what they say, but you can't see there reactions.
I am new to all of this stuff, this is the first social site I have ever been on. It seems like it could be really romantic to fall in love on line though. It might even be a more pure kind of love, since there is no looks and money and pheramones on line. Just you, no smoke and mirrors.
Anyway, If any of you guys are big fans of dating on line please explain it to me.
I don't really understand it, but it sounds interesting.

Not for me, all though it is of course nice but most important for me is to be there for my fianceé no matter what, and then of course to see her as the first thing every morning, I dont complain over either:)

I really think it we get too detailed then it would be against the PG13 rules. But it depends on a lot of things.
