All I can ever think about now is how I'm going to make it in life. I climb and climb. Sometimes I slip up and the natural elements bring their fury against me. If I make it to the top, it will seem to be a miracle.
Post your random thoughts/feelings etc
Jinxed (now lily1), or cindy, will be missing a lot of stuff on socialphobiaworld, while she's on holiday in thailand! (her father is chinese & mother is thai). But i'm sure she's having a good time & not really missing socialphobiaworld (as it's not active enough for her liking). 🤭
When someone resurrects an old thread from many years ago and you are looking through the pages seeing lots of old friends who used to post in this site, but have long since disappeared.

Using a site like the wayback machine can make that feeling even more pronounced.

I saw this avatar in the (original) random thoughts thread, and didn't even recognize who it belonged to at first after not seeing it for so long. That time feels like another life now.
Also, I at one point had the title "orangutan Wrangler." I remember having it, but cannot remember why anymore :idontknow:

I remember joining back in twenty-ten.. It felt like a different place then.
Me and a friend having finally watched every single Digimon season and movie, with exception of the things that aren't out yet. That's six seasons, over three-hundered episodes and roughly a hundred hours total, excluding the movies.
That was a looooong nostalgia trip.

Wow 😮, looking back through that archive almost made me shed a tear.
I know right. :sad:BlackPuma said: ↑I remember joining back in twenty-ten.. It felt like a different place then.
It's like going to the cinema and seeing a really great action movie.
Then the movie ends and you are sad because the movie has finished......
Then you are still sitting in your seat while the end movie credits are rolling on the screen.
There are only a handful of other people left sitting in their seats too, just staring at the ending credits, like you.

Yeah, a handful of us just stay in our seats as the reels and years roll on.
Before my first cup of coffee: "Oh dear goodness, it's all I desire!"
After my first cup of coffee: "Oh dear Lord, get it away from me!"

I think Remus used to assign titles without necessarily receiving a request first.
So. Random thought.
This site is mostly full of people who dislike people but really crave social interaction.

The paradox of wanting something that is great when it is good, and awful when it is bad.

My lifestyle has been developed with the idea of avoiding all possible bad interactions - which also means i avoid the good interactions as well.

I suppose we crave social interaction - minus the judgement, and we have a higher chance of having that with like-minded people in here.
That sums up my life perfectly, too. :kickingmyself:theslowesthand said: ↑My lifestyle has been developed with the idea of avoiding all possible bad interactions - which also means i avoid the good interactions as well.

Have you got AvPD too? I have AvPD.
I was diagnosed with AvPD many years ago, though I do feel as though it has become slightly less severe in more recent times, in some circumstances.
I woke up tonight with my blanket flipped completely over and rotated about 90 degrees.
I remember fighting with my covers at some point but damn, this is breaking new ground.
