Why do people put question marks at the end of something that isn't a question?!

Like if you ask a question such as "I thought you were going to a party tonight" they could say "no, why did you think that?" but instead just say "No?". Or when someone says "lol?". It's either "lol" or it isn't, make your mind up before typing it and sending it to me.

Grr, another pet peeve. The list just keeps growing

This is a lesson to you all. Don't try to play a grammar freak at his own game, it will end terribly.

Unless he decides his own game is rugby, in which case yes, you will win
