Trying to get over my photo phobia.
I feel more comfortable posting pictures of myself here more than any other site,but it's still really hard for me.
I'm just not particularly fond of my face,and find myself to be profoundly hideous.
But I'll refrain from laying on too much self Self-deprecation like I usually do...

I have done the same myself, but without ever pressing the "send" key. Not on these forums but elsewhere. My confidence is less than it was not that long ago so I won't even think about putting my put here now.
Are you glad you put yours up now? Do you wish you'd done it sooner?

I dont regret it, i suppose im glad i worked up the courage to do it. As for doing it sooner, im just happy i found the strength to do it at all.

Back in the day smiling was considered not proper for pictures. Because pictures of people took so much effort to do. So why waist effort for a potential silly picture?
In Ontario, we are not allowed to smile for photo ID, driver's license or pass ports. Perhaps a return to the past is coming?
Personally I do prefer pictures of people, myself included, to be non-smiling. Let the eyes speak.

I didn't dye my hair, have you seen it before and think it looks different or something?
I have astigmatism and I'm supposed to wear my glasses for reading, computer use and TV. I can see fine without them and usually don't wear them. I probably need a different prescription by now, I've had those for a while...
