26, old?! you're only a year older than me and i still go out every weekend to have fun. don't give up just because you think it's too late - it's better to start now than never. believeeeee me if you don't you're gonna be kicking yourself in the ass later on in life when you're old and wrinkly, and come to the realization that you missed out on so much in life. it's like Deus said, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take... so go out and make some damn shots.
YES!!! It's never too late even if it seems so; but the sooner you start the better. I wasted a few years now having stopped taking shots; it may feel like it's too late; but that's just a feeling. It saddens me ppl so depressed hoping for death and they're so young, 20s, even 30s is young. When good things can happen suddenly and anywhere - but rarely will they fall on your lap, and even if they do, gotta go seize them and grab hold or it'll slip by either way.
The hardest thing is starting imo - and to not being discouraged by an air ball your first few shots. Like anything in life tho, if you're truly serious, the more you do, the better you'll get. Momentum will follow if you pick up pace and keep going (consistency).
Anyways - everyone must arrive at their own realization and point - I spent 3 years in a bad spot, letting things slip by, feeling sorry for myself, hopeless, but - it's time to stop living in the past in regrets. I graduate now, just turned "25", and it's hard not to slip back into old thoughts and ways and not take shots, but it's a process, slow, I accepted that, but more reason to begin now - I'm determined, too much living ahead I can be miserable or try to be happy. But I gotta make it happened. No one walks your path for you. Not an easy road, but plenty of motivation to get back on it.
Anyways turned a tad bit off topic, apologies I should probably move it =) Fdctk just motivated me some more.
