who here have body piercings? i got my lip pieced a month ago but only got a ring in 5 days ago anyone else have a lip piercing? the swelling has gone down alot now and it seem to be healing up nicely but it is still quite awkward eating and drinking from a glass especially. will I eventually get used to this or will i have to put up with it??? I also had an eyebrow piercing before but the it kept falling out and swelling up everytime i tried to put it back in so i just took it out

this is in reaction to Nack's statement: me too! its hott! want to gauge my ears too but afraid they wont grow back if i dont like it

I only have my ears pierced. Not sure i want anymore now, i did go through a stage of wanting my lip done though too! :D

I have my right eyebrow pierced and three piercings in each ear (going to be four soon). I'd like to get my lip pierced. I was actually going to get it done a couple of weeks ago, but the guy didn't have the stud thingies, just rings. And I don't want a lip ring. We'll see what happens. I do like body mods. I'd love to get some tattoos, but I'm a big p*ssy when it comes to pain.

From the medical point of view... Extra holes in a person gives infection or disease another access to your body that isn't prepared to defend as well... Also, if you go into cardiac arrest, before an AED or any attempt to regulate ventricular fibrillation with electric shock, will burn the nipple or belly button piercing. We have been instructed to remove the nipple rings and belly button rings before using an AED or any defibrillator for that matter. IMHO

as I revive this topic because...well I love talking about piercings. I have two holes in each ear, my belly button, and recently, my nose (which I am in love with...nose hoop=awesome) and I want moooooore. Not go crazy, but I'd LOVE my lip and tongue, but I think my mom would be mad and I love her and rather not make her angry. But I might work on her more so I can at least get my tongue. want ittttt. I'll probably at least get my tragus and an industrial piercings...those are just ears so I don't think momma would mind as much. and if she does I can hide them with my hair ;)

I have 5 piercings in my ears, I used to have my lip pierced, and my belly button was half pierced...... probably half of those piercings were huuuuuuuuuge, dumb mistakes. I now have a permanent puncture under my lip that doesn't grow over. Grrr.

My lobes are a massive 2.4mm right now. I'll probably get some other ear stuff at some point, rook looks good.

I had two pairs of ear piercings (for earrings), but one pair of ear hole closed so I now have one pair. Its a shame though, my ears hurt when I am wearing big loop earrings, which I like, so basically, I don't wear earrings though I pierced my ears. Other than that, I don't have any other piercings.

When I was about 16 I tried to do an ear piercing half-drunk with ice, a cork and a needle. It went wrong, there was blood and I nearly fainted. I've never considered it since.
