Deleted mine a few months ago... A lot of old mates and family on there who are very nosy and talk balls about me behind my back because of what I may have as a status, what pics I have, etc. Nice to be secluded from all that drama!
I don't follow teenage trends.
No. I haven't gotten one. FB is a social hooker-upper, from what I understand. If you have someone in your life, I don't think it is a good idea to go there as many relationships have ended because people talked to others on the site "socially", and somehow ruined their marriages, etc. That's horrible.

That's a fascinating expression. What exactly do you mean by "throw down on"?I throw down on Facebook as well.
NERD ALERT!!!

The reason for my interest is that there's a very similar idiom in the Irish language - "caith anuas ar" = "throw down (from above) on" - which means to "disparage" or "belittle" something.
Perhaps this expression passed into the English dialect of Ireland and was then brought with them to America???
I have a Facebook and to be quite honest it usually ends up making me a bit depressed. Just seeing these people who went to my high school and college and all the fun they're having, people are getting married and having kids. I should feel happy for them but instead I feel sad for myself.
