Loyal's Thoughts

I. Am. So. Bloody. Worn. Out.

I havent slept more than a few hours in my chair each early morning since Sunday/Monday. There's been just so much going on. Short version is thus:
  • Went back to my doctor because August came and went and the specialist never called, she ended up callign them and got me in the next day. A new treatment plan is planned, I'll have to fill out some paperwork and then hand it back to the specialist and then there'll be a very minor surgery and we'll see how things go from there.
  • My Pop (not biologically, but was the one who was there all my life) and my biological grandfather both ended up in hospital (same hospital at pretty much the same time/both the got transferred to the same ward at another hospital). Pop was in for a couple weeks but then he got to go home a few days ago. My biological grandfather did not. He died literally minutes after the first time I went in his room.
I'd been helping out to sell his stuff and then went to meet up with my mother and grandmother, then after he died we sorted out the funeral details for the very next day coz his son (my half uncle) came from canada for a few days to say goodbye and we wanted the funeral to be before he left if possible. That was arranged but because it was so last minute things were a bit chaotic getting it all sorted out (thankfully he had a funeral plan prepurchased). I then had to stay up til like 4am to make the handouts for the funeral and a remembrance video for the funeral. AAAND on top of that it was too last minute to organise an interpreter for my mother and the other deaf people coming (in the end it was just my father, my mother and her wife) so I had to do the signing. I can sign but I'd never done a funeral and so it was major stress (not to mention the fact that all the non deaf people would also be looking at me up at the front next to the celebrant- thankfully my grandmother organized for me to be able to sit next to the celebrant so I didnt feel as in the spotlight). It all got done in time and went ok, but was bloody exhausting getting it all done. Then there was the wake and afterwards I went to my mothers for dinner, after dinner I sat for a moment on the couch and her two cats sat on and with me... next minute im snoring away for the next almost three hours! But then I had to go home coz today I had another busy day
  • So today I get up at 5:30 (again only getting about 2 or 3 hours of sleep) to drive about an hour away to take my grandma to get the country train back down to where she and her husband live, then I drive back to go straight to a day of 4 classes one after the other (literally kept falling asleep in the first and last class just from weariness), then I had to get dog biscuits and do some grocery shopping.
Now Im finally home, but I need to do a load of washing coz I have another doctors appointment tomorrow but I am really struggling to find the strength... but Im out of clean pants so it really really needs doing .. Plus theres some uniwork to do... but I think I can leave that til Sunday..

Right now all I want to do is

But I gotta at least try and wash something for tomorrow.. and if Im gonna do that I might as well do the full load

Oh man not to mention when I was driving my grandma a massive huntsman spider climbed up on my window, thankfully I had it closed so we could chat coz usually its down and the damn thing wouldve gotten inside.... unfortunately it clibed out of view and I dont know where it is now (so I bought a can of spray after class and used half of it securing the car from spiders :LOL: )

decided not to bother with the washing coz some pretty bad winds just started and it might rain.. So I'll try and get up earlier tomorrow and do it... Definitely gonna have a nap soon
Very sorry to hear about your grandfather.

Get some sleep.
My sympathies Loyal *hugs*

I'm with Miserum on this, you should do your pants, then rest.

Thanks guys, Im doing ok. We werent close, I'd really only met him a handful of times so Im doing alright. Its sad but not hurting

Im not any good with plants, in fact I have an almost perfect instant kill rate  but I enjoy trying..

I was in a happy mood after planting my first one, but then I happened to check my bank account and noticed a payment that should not be there. Turns out Amazon Prime has been taking money from my account this month and last month for an account I dont have. I contacted them coz I cancelled my membership before the trial ended and they claimed there was no payments showing on their end. Which is bull coz its clearly stated on my bank account. So I've had to get my bank to lodge the dispute on my behalf. Hopefully it gets sorted out soon. I googled and apparently theyve done this a few times so if any of you have dealt with amazon check your bank accounts.

I got a letter for a pre admission appointment in preparation for that minor surgery thing... which led me to googling it and reading a massive amount of horror stories despite its alleged 90% no side effect rate.... Now Im anxious af about it and I really dont know if I want to take the risk

You'll be fine Loyal. In the end you decided to seek help because of the problems the issue was causing, stick with it girl :)
