I'm dreading the holidays because __ (fill in the blank!)

-it intensifies the avpd, especially the low self esteem and envy attached to seeing couples out in public living/loving life even more cause it's the holidays, reminding me that i can't have the same thing with an extra twist of the blade in the gut.
-i have to figure out how i'm going to ignore/dodge all the pity-invites from my sisters' friends' parents to spend christmas with them while my sis and parents do their xmas thing in another state.
-work is more difficult, customers expect holiday cheer and want to say merry xmas and i have to say it back to them without baring my teeth maliciously
