Your caption says it all, I think we all need love to function. Personally I feel that love is the most important thing in a persons life whatever form it takes, whether it be love of a partner, family, pet whatever. I don't think it's possible for a human to exist without some form of consistant love in their lives.
I don't see anything pathetic about wanting the person you love to love you completely in return, seems pretty normal to me.
When in a relationship does anyone else also feel like they need more love than the average person to function?
I pick up if my boyfriend doesn't show as much affection as he usually does, and I get paranoid and question a lot.
Before I had a boyfriend, I used to think that if I found a boyfriend, everything would be fine, because I hoped that love cured depression.
But yeah, it's as though I need love. I need him to love me more than anything. It's pathetic really, but that's how it is.
