So last night I had my first sexual experience and to be honest it was one of the worse, if not the worse experience I ever had in my life. i don't want to go in details for obvious reasons but all I can say is that Porn lied to me ( lol), I couldn't sleep well last night because I was so, and still am traumatised. I don't want anything to do with something sexual for a very very very long time. Intimacy with someone is simply not for me

Mine was...... ehhhhhhh. It was okay.

The worst thing about it was that I hugely regretted it later on. Thank goodness that's all I was left with from it :x

I wouldn't worry too much.. but yes was it with a friend/gf? Sex takes time to get into the swing of, it doesn't just magically turn into this amazing fit of passion the first time - that's a silly notion, give it a chance another time, it changes.

I forgot to write about mine ha. Mine was nice, a little awkward and just new obviously - but i've only been with that one guy, so now it's good :D!

Wow da_illest101 I'm sorry to hear that - please don't let it put you off - most people's first time sucks just a little bit. People are always on about how it's great but the people I know (online and IRL) who have good sex lives now had cr@ppy first times.

My two friends both lost theirs in embarassing one-night-stands they regretted and never saw the person again. So did my brother. Now they both have good sex lives (far as they tell me).

Meh, my first time I didn't even lose my virginity lol - I was so paralysed with anxiety and it was so painful and awkard I was at it for about half an hour and then.... Couldn't finish. It hurt! Took a few attempts for me to even be able to, uh, arrive ::eek:: Of course once I got over my fear of intimacy it was a lot better and I enjoyed it a lot.

I've heard SAers who had panic attacks their first time - it's never going to be perfect the first time but please don't let it put you off - it does get better.

Sorry to hear your first experience was so bad. Was it with somebody you were in a relationship with?

My first sexual experience was, ashamedly, a drunken one on holiday when I was 17. But usually I tell people I lost my virginity at 20, which was the first time it meant something :) (and incidentally, the second time I had sex).
After I first had sex I realised it was no fun unless you actually love the person so I saw no point of doing it again until I did have the feelings needed to make it special.

I don't remember any pain. I just wish I hadn't been wearing a pair of socks with frogs on. Wasn't really a sexy moment when he took those off for me.

You know I always thought that sex was just fun no matter with who you have it with lol. There is no way in hell that i'm doing it with a random girl ever again. I'll stay picky as hell. Sometimes you need to do a mistake to learn

@ Coyote: LMAO

@ Beatrice: same here

@EnigmatiConduit: nope just some random girl, biggest mistake of my life so far. Never again will i do that

@ MagicPotion: my friend told me the same thing but for now i'm staying the hell away from any chance at intimacy with anyone

It was, I think, the summer between 5th and 6th grade. The day was warm and the scent of flowers was in the air. I was alone. It was pretty good, actually! ::p:

porn sex is all choreographed

they work the moves out ahead of time, and someone is directing the action

in real life it never goes quite as smoothly

it's like comparing a real fight with the fight scene in a Chuck Norris movie

I think being in a relationship is important, like you say. If mine had been with a random girl then I'd only have had that first crappy experience I had and then that'd be that.

Just saying that it can be good once you get the hang of it, and get over a fear of intimacy. Later sexual experiences in that relationship were some of the best moments of my life.

I was hopeless at first but I got better at it quickly. Porn is daft - they take breaks between scenes and everything's choreographed, IRL can't really match that even with really experienced people.

Haha. Yeah I think a lot of people like to make it seem that way but personally I don't see how it can always be fun.
Male private parts are disgusting to look at and I imagine that female parts are too, but if you really care about the person you're with, you think they look good enough to eat! And the sex is more enjoyable.
That's not to say I don't like the occasional random workout, its a basic human hobby, but I don't need it and I feel sorry for those who do, or feel compelled to be doing it just for the sake of doing it.

I tried to look at porn a few mins ago just to see how I would react to it and it's pretty much how you described it. Everything just look ugly to me right now. So I deleted my whole porn stash, all my accounts on various sites. I simply cannot see myself staying a porn addict after this. I'm so traumatised that I can't even eat my breakfast and my body is shaking a bit. It still better then last night though

you are giving me hope but right now i just need to stop thinking about it and never rush into it ever again.

I think you summed it up pretty well in chat once when you said porn's about as real as the wrestling on tv. I mean, for starters, the angles are weird. Who always has sex in a position that makes their naughty bits easily visible to another person looking on? And of course most porn is male-oriented, and unfortunately a lot of it seems targeted at males who are angry at women because they can't get laid...

That's not to say that porn is altogether a bad thing. Just not something to be taken seriously.

Sorry I meant more with someone other then yourself. I admit that the title can bring confusion

I know. I was just being silly. ;)

How would someone know that, in a world where so many people like to lie about sex?
