How many roads must a man walk down...

I would remind all that even though they belong to the human race, there was no competition, no judgement - everyone is a winner...
even Hitler?! ;)

Don't worry about being great in society measures, just stay the way you are and try to do your best. Such people who are unspoiled by society are rare today!
Thanks Lea! :) ::eek::

yea that's true. Good point!

This is what I mean--it all depends on who you ask, so without a standard answer the question is meaningless. If you hold God's view as the standard, it's still meaningless because God's view is unknowable. Who would claim to know the mind of God?

I am convinced that conscience is the part of God in us and we are obliged to listen to it and act in accordance to it. Simple but true. I could never believe the crap that evil is stronger.

Sure, we cannot understand God's mind in it's fullness, but we can understand and listen to our conscience.

What are we counting as roads?

Do dirt tracks count?

How about footpaths?

What about motorways/freeways? What if it starts out as one road but then changes its name along the way? Does that count as one road or two?

If you were God, and you had the entire human race lined up in front of you on judgement day, how would you rate people?

I would rate them by what they had managed to turn themselves into... I've always concurred with the concept of human beings having complete freedom of choice and I'm convinced that deep inside they possess enough power of being capable to alter themselves into whatever they choose to become.

I just came to say that there is no judgement day. God loves us all unconditionally regardless of our sins. That's not to say that your sins will not have to be answered to, as universal karma will ensure that you repay all your past mistakes. Your spirit will do this willingly though, because it will help the spirit grow.

Also regarding heaven. We are living in heaven right now, we are also living in hell right now. It is up to you to perceive your experience of heaven / hell. One thing is important though is that your spirit and ego might interpret your experiences differently though, so what is hell for your ego, might not be hell for your spirit.

Dude, you're taking 2 wrong steps at the time... I just love how people know their problem and yet refuse to google it for a cure. Nowadays, the internet is more powerful than any single doctor.

First of all, your manlynes problem comes from negative beliefs what a man should be like and you try to conform to that ideal. I recommend watching BBC series of "How TV ruined your life" on youtube. Full episodes there. 6 of them. Hey, it's not like you have an evening out planned.. Just watch them, overcome your ego for the greater good of getting better.
COMPARING YOURSELF TO PEOPLE only stimulates your continued self-criticizing and drops your self-worth to a minimum. Look it up. It is a problem SADers have.

And now towards your god complex. People don't want to hear you saying you're god and you're better than everyone. But that does not mean you can change the way you think. It probably is a core trait that you need to make it work for you. I did.

I think I'm my own god. I have one life, one chance, so I'm the one taking the decisions, I'm the one taking responsibility (it is inevitable). It helps to shade it with one layer of sublimation. It protects your mouth from accidentally uttering something stupid. Read a book about the power of your subconsciousness and you will realize, that if there is godlikeness it you - it's your subconscious. You will be amazed how powerful it is. And yeah, it works. Be skeptical while reading the book, It has a lot of religious "your belief can move matter" kind of bull****. Just realize that it is indirect influence. You smile - they smile. Manipulation?
