Atheists dont believe in God, but that theres no way to prove it. Agnostics believe that there is a God, but think that we won't ever know him. Do I have this right?? I have mixed religious beliefs.

I'm pretty certain that agnostics are just open to the idea of God and Godlessness. Theres no way to be certain of either so we just play it safe in the middle ground.

a = without

theism = belief in a deity

gnosis = knowledge

so...

atheism = without belief in god

agnostic = without knowledge - in other words , there is no way of knowing (whether god exists or not)
