How do you feel when you have a haircut?

I have a short hair cut now, I wanted to go for a change.
I still go to the hair-dresser though, she has her own business, she works alone so it's very relaxing and not a lot of people.

I just answer whatever little questions they ask and let the rest be silence, also they have self-checkout lines where I live : o
This, mostly; I don't give "short answers", but I don't talk much besides what they ask. No self-checkout lines though...

Personally, I like longer hair, so often I don't feel so happy about my hair after a haircut.

i love getting haircuts

it's a great excuse to sit there and do nothing while an attractive woman runs her hands through my hair and presses her body against me

hopefully she doesn't ask me a bunch of questions - i'd rather not have to speak

usually I'm more anxious about how i'll look afterward

It doesn't always work like that. Throughout my teens i went to a place where a large pig looking woman would press my head into her bosom and breath down onto me like Darth Vader. I don't know why i kept going back, month after month after month. I suppose the plus was that she didn't speak.

i tend to be more selective in my choice of stylist ;]

i use to have that problem, i do feel pressured to say something when i dont have anything i want to say. I dont understand why all hairdresser seem to want to talk to the customer about life and stuff.. i mean, do we have to talk? cos i dont want to

Haha. What a frightening image!

I feel good after a haircut. Number 3 razor. Always cooler in summer.

My hair is off. I spent 15 minutes shaving my head with the clippers, shaving my beard off, and trying to make my goatee look better. Lots of maintanence but it's worth it. I'll have to figure out how to use the nose tripper i got, good thing i don't got hair in my ears. I'm a hairy man and it sucks.

or if it's a bad haircut I will feel *sheer* haha terror, panic anxiety.

Like they cut your bangs too short or the color is really bad. Plus then it's so exspensive anymore. So i am letting mine grow long and lucious. I am broke ayways. And yes who likes to gossip with the woman doing the cutting? not me. I live in a small town and they are so nosey I don't like to talk about anything but my hair and hope they don't mess it up. I do the whole nervous compliments thing the whole time too...
I usually don't like the persons hair who's cutting my hair too this hapens a lot. So then it really is a scary experience.
I need a trim and I am currently putting it off for the above reasons. But a trim is usually safe....ok I can do it :)

As a small child I used to be terrified of haircuts, so my parents bought this:

Now I'm terrified of vacuums, so I go to a professional hairdresser once a month.

I'll never trust my parents again but at least I have great hair.

OMG the flowbee!! Does this work?!! the commercials were so hillarious but the concept seems cool i guess.

So it was scary? that sucks!

anxious. when i pay ~$60 for a "designer" haircut the girl i go to is really hot, pushes her luscious cleavage in my face (so close to motorboating), and she doesn't pressure me to chat so much. when i pay ~$20 the lady i go to is a very aggressive talker and i feel a lot of pressure to fill the silence... which i'm not good at. either way, i do feel anxious but the hairstylists who are more relaxed make me feel more comfortable.

Makes me sad just thinking about it, but i'm good doing my own hair. Saves me $220 a year since i used to get my hair cut once a month.

Well that's my new word for today, after some interesting googling...
