How do you feel when you have a haircut?

LoL Phocas! :)
reminds me of Leave it to Beaver-
"Wally don't you think you were a little hard on the Beaver tonight"

Dotty-Motorboated by the stylist huh? Did you survive? Did you see SNL a few weeks ago w/Helen Mirren doing all the motorboating to the cast? That was funny as heck. Maybe you don't get snl...she was good lol

ive never, ever had my hair cut the way i want it to be cut. the smalltalk and the whole thing just makes me cringe, i hate looking in the mirror as well so i try to look at my shoes for as long as i can. the WORST is when the hand mirror comes out so you can see the back of your head, that combined with the fact that i can see the hairdressers' face in the mirror too, staring at me and asking questions, i just say "yea thats fine" and just try to get home while avoiding as many people as possible. horrible experience and the main reason that i have long hair most of the time (which i found actually suits me and i prefer it).

i hate getting my hair cut! i don't do it much anyways cuz i like my long hair, but i hate the small talk my hairdresser always tries to make. i suck at keeping a convseration going. shes one of my moms best friends so i kinda know her but still....i hate it! i don't know what to say, i always bring one of my friends along so she can talk to them haha.
but my best friend just got her cosmetology license so she will be cutting my hair from now on which is great

I hate getting haircuts too! Glad to know I'm not the only one that feels this way. It's so uncomfortable making small talk and I never really know what I want because I don't like how I look. Last time I chopped a lot off myself just to avoid getting it done by someone.

I've cut my own hair for the last few years. Going to a hair salon is too awkward, and I always end up hating it because they cut it wrong. I guess it's them not listening to me, or I don't explain properly... the small talk is also awkward.
I know what I want with my hair, even when I don't I experiment until I create something I like.
I also acutally get alot of compliments too, I don't know why... it's weird.
If I do a good job, I feel great about it, except right now... my hair is a mess D; too messy that I can't touch it until it grows out more.

The inevitable social catastrophe is probably the only thing I enjoy about getting my hair cut. It might just be me, but I find it absolutely hilarious since there's rarely any pressure on me to talk and it puts the barber on the spot.

I found the oldest barber in my town, he is 80, he hates to talk and put classical music to play. And his "partner" has more than 80 years old. The "partner" is always reading a newspaper or doing a haircut in someone, always in silence too.

I have a haircut every 3 months, my record was 3 months and 5 days, and when I go I ask for a VERY SHORT haircut.

And every time I go he can't remember me from previous times.

Haircut problem: (X) Solved.

I try to avoid looking me in the mirror in that moment, because I look like a scared kid.. Furthermore, in the mirror I could see the guys behind me waiting for their turn.

On a train, i put headphones on. And close my eyes, because it's the same scene, right there, and power sleep might help, but i never achieved that. Actually, i did wake up in Paddington station, couldn'get out - electric doors were secure. Had to bang on the doors...

I never put headphones on at work - a lot of people do it.

I close my eyes at the haircutters sometimes, but it feels rude. as soon as i sit in the chair i feel vastly sleepy, and relaxed. Just looking at me in the mirror, preferably at any face or the balloons of the sexxyy cutters - polish, russian... But might end up staring at their utensils and asking about them, eventually

Very good!

My theme of my week is to think about the needs or desires of others, and to please them, or entertain them - not concentrating just on me any more - the gateway to life!
