How are you feeling?

Sorry, just noticed your comment! Being a dunce again.

There's quite a pinch, I know I can handle it this time around because I was apart of it. It hurt and I really didn't want to do it but I had to. Thanks for the comfort, Mikey. :)
You're welcome. I hope you can move on quickly and painlessly from the split. They're never good, especially if it's mutual.

Feeling oddly alone. I can't believe how little people I have to talk to. Things are so boring.
You know how to reach me, Buzz. I hope you take advantage of that. :)

I'm feeling VERY happy that I have the next two days off! Although I really do like many of the people I work with, there are a few I need a break from on a regular basis!!!
It doesn't matter how good the people are or how much you enjoy your work, there's always a time when you need a break from it. Any plans for your two days off?

I think Mikey, Deadman, and Feathers should open a counseling business! They're all very gifted at advising and consoling those in need. :)
I'm not that good, honestly, but thank you. ^_^

I have to get out of bed and get ready for work, but I'm debating if just lying in bed forever until I die of starvation is a better option.

There's something I want to do... that somebody is urging me to do... and I really want to do it, and I can do it....It's just a holiday to visit some people. No huge sacrifices or life-changes.

But then this anxiety kicks in and for some reason I can't quite put my finger on it makes me reluctant to commit to anything and probably makes me sound like I'm being a flake. I want to do it so much but... if anything I guess it's like in the book the Alchemist where that old man wouldn't go to the pyramids because if he did, then he would no longer have the dream of it.

I frustrate myself sometimes because I make everything so complicated. The real me is telling myself JUST TO DO IT! But then the voice of anxiety creeps up and, without any plausible reason, tells me it's a bad idea... or not so much that, but that I should wait until there's an even more convenient time to go. But will that time ever come? This is the same voice that's caused me to miss other opportunities in the past. I think this is the time I really need to deny that voice.
Sorry... I'm just rambling again because it helps typing it out somehow.

I think you should completely ignore your anxiety voices and listen to the single voice that's telling you to do it. It's a holiday and you will most certainly enjoy it. :)

Where's the holiday to?

Thanks Mikey. It helps hearing it from a neutral person's perspective. I think you're right.
Its to S.E Asia. I have savings that I've purposely kept so that I could go back and visit one day. If I don't use them now maybe I never will. But... stupid anxious voice of caution!

I remember you saying yesterday or so that you would love to go back there, and now is your perfect opportunity to do it, so I think you should! You've saved up money for this exact reason, so you have to do it now. :D

Hey, maybe drop by in Australia if you're around these parts. ;)

Yeah...I've been thinking about it a lot lately, I guess because it's a new year and I always thought that I would go back in this year. So I would need to start planning now really etc.
And... that's funny, my friend is suggesting we take a trip to Australia whilst out there because it's right next door ::p:

Yeah, it's best to start planning these things as early as possible so you can get the best deals and have everything booked and ready to go for when you start your adventures. I'm sure you'll love it a second time (Thai food!).

If you guys do end up in Australia, let me know! I have no accommodation for you but, if you end up at Sydney airport, I can pick you up at least, haha. But that's way in the future, so plan South East Asia first! :)

Thanks Mikey, that's really kind of you! None of us will have ever been to Aus before so the help of a local would be great :D It may be a long-way off right now... but watch this space ::p:

I'm not exactly an "expert" on Sydney myself, as I don't live there. I live about an hour south of that, and it's more suburban.

I'll be watching this space with intent! :)

Well I'd take a wild guess that you know more about it than I do ::p:
I'll keep you informed buddy :)

^Fantastic! :D

Well, I'm exhausted. I've been battling a fever all day and it's nearly 10pm so I think it's about time I head to bed. My throat is scratchy and my forehead is on fire. I think I'll be sleeping soundly tonight.

Have a good rest, Mikey! Hope your fever feels better in the morning... hot water with a splash of honey and lemon often helps with a bad throat :)

Thanks. :) I'll take some cold and flu tablets and see how they do their thing while I'm snoozing.

Someone threw an egg at me from a passing car while at work today .
I wasn't really bothered about it though, it's more of a random and puzzling thing to occur.

I'm more annoyed at this oppressive heat to sleep through tonight, bah!

Hie yer hence from me heath!
Well, I just got invited to my cousin's 18th birthday party, and she pretty insistent that I attend.

Also, she's having her party on my birthday (March 31st). Despite her birthday being the day before mine. So it look like I'll be spending my 24th birthday at someone else's party this year, surrounded by loud, immature 18 year olds and family I rarely see. At least I'd have a reason to opt-out if she actually held her party on her birthday.

I've had the same thing happen to me, too. It's awful and there's no reason for it to happen.

Can you hold your own party? You're entitled to one, too.

There's only a couple of people that really get under my skin, but it's enough that I really look forward to not seeing them!

Had to take one of the dogs to the vet today for his dental surgery, so just waiting for them to finish so I can pick him up! Then I'm going to run a bunch of errands. Will probably just have a nice lazy day at home tomorrow! ::p:

Are you feeling any better today?

Yeah, I can understand that. It's always the small few that ruin it for the majority.

Are you feeling any better today?
I am in the sense that my appetite is coming back (I ate next to nothing yesterday). It's really hot out today so that'll be bad for me. Overall I'm almost the same as yesterday but I think I'm going to get better very soon. Thanks for asking. :)
