I'm 24 from Ireland. I came here because I just want somebody to talk to, about anything, nothing, everything, and I've no idea how to socialise, even on the internet. I tick a lot of boxes here, anxiety, shyness, agoraphobia, depression, AvPD, and panic attacks. I'm in therapy but it's slow. I hate how my life is and whenever I talk to people elsewhere, I always hide how messed up I am. I guess if I want to make new friends, I should be a bit more open and I think this is the best place to do that, around others who understand.

@gummybear22 I like music, games, books, movies. I don't work or study, obv don't get out much because of agoraphobia, so I spend most of my time online. Sorry, I can't think of much else to say.
And I know how you feel about therapy, I've seen several therapists - none of which I wanted to see - since I was in my early teens. I'm willingly going to my current therapist because of how bad things are and I'm not sure if she's just brilliant or it's because I'm finally open to therapy, but it works, it's just very slow progress. Therapy isn't for everybody though, I get that. I'm on medication too, for the depression and anxiety.

Well for music I'll listen to anything, though I don't listen to mainstream/pop stuff much. For books, I'm a massive historical fiction fan, mostly ancient cultures - Greece, Rome etc, thrillers, fantasy, some graphic novels and comics. How about you?

No way. *gasps* I love historical fiction. I mean it obviously has to be fantasy or sci-fi for me, but if there's a historical setting or very futuristic setting for me then I'm on top of the world. I have watched movies like Immortals, 300, and shows like The Borgias and am just in love. I have to watch Game of Thrones. For music I'm more of a symphonic metal/rock/house/dubstep/classical type of person. Very different types of music, but what can I say. I am open to anything though.

Spartacus is my kind of thing, all the way, I can't recommend it enough haha

House music is another branch of dance music, I think.

It's the type of stuff they have in clubs and stuff, I think. I've never been to a club. But I used to call it all techno until I read there are different types of techno. Or similar genres. And lol House md.

Thank you for introducing me to Spartacus. It rings a bell, I think I heard an add or something of it once, but never got to really remembering any of it. I just saw a trailer. And rgufweghujhbfber I can't wait to start watching it !

A couple of things before you begin - Blood and Sand comes first, then Gods of the Arena, Gods is a prequel but it was made after the first season because the lead actor got cancer so they gave him time to recover, Gods should be watched after BaS because it's got spoilers for the first season, and the second thing is the lead actor didn't recover so they had to recast Spartacus for the second season, Vengeance.
