have you ever heard the saying

"if you think everyone around you is crazy, chances are its really you"

and thought, oh sh_t.

Sayings are usually FALSE, actually. They are always stupid generalizations.
So that saying is basically saying that if you live in a community where everyone is a religious fanatic, or where most people pollute the environment, or where everyone is rich shallow and selfish, then... they're ok, just because that's the majority.

There's cases in where a person is living in a really bad place where the majory of people are abusive/close minded/judgemental idiots, and that person in question turns to be more "normal" than everyone else, and obviously angry and dissatisfied with the environment. I have the feeling that one of the idiots from that majory wrote that said just to escape responsability and blame everything on the innocents who have to go through these kind of problems.

Hahahaha! Oh sweet sweet insanity, it brings brilliance you know. But yes, that sounds like a statement that society would create. It really depends on your opinion of what true insanity is as well as the living environment of said person.
