Remember in the "sound of music" where the lady cheers up the boatload of austrian kids? she sings the song these are a few of my favorite things. So here it is! a happy thread. What are a few of your favorite things?

here's mine:

-coffee, lots of it
-heating units that work
-teaching multiplication tables to tiny tricksters
-FOR REAL
-the color green
-my baby dog
-thick thigh-high socks (they exist!)
-morbid poetry
-heavy rain
-the hours between 2am and 5am

so go for it! list your favorite things, for when the dog bites

Erm. Above all, my dog makes me happy. It kills me being away from her whilst I'm here at Uni.

Im happy when I put effort into something and succeed. but if I dont succeed, I usually get depressed, so I rarely try anymore.

cats
turtles
light rain - where i can take a walk outside and i would be alone
bananas - the only fruit i eat. the durian being a distant second.
very bitter chocolate - the high cocoa content ones
wearing shorts all year round
music
the internet - can't survive without it
autumn
reading a book in bed during a thunderstorm
