Both films were produced during the roughly thirty-year period between the burning of Atlanta and Custer's last stand. The first one has very little to do with war, and the second has very little to do with sheep.

So the "Burning of Atlanta" would be "Gone with the Wind"......1939.
And "Custer's last stand" could be a Western style movie, which were big in the 50's and 60's.
