It makes a DRAMATIC difference in texture quality with no performance hit for me , that is another example of why their lack of video settings suck , it's starting to look like a PC game now , i'm thinking of playing the game from the beginning just to enjoy the proper textures , i'm sure there are more settings to tweak .

Anyone here playing FIFA 12?
What do you think of the new tactical defending system? I've tried to get used to it and have played around 20 games with it, but it's really pissing me off When it works (containing players) it works well, but too often players just waltz through my defence and get cheap goals. I have won games using it, but have also thrown away big leads - one game I was 3-0 up, and went on to lose 5-3!! I'm really close to switching it to the old defending system in the options. Either that or lower the difficulty level (I'm on the middle one, professional I think)

(and I'd go back to my old FIFA 2005 for ps2 just not to pay 63€ for a videogame lol)

Yeah so far i haven't seen any slowdowns , and i have been playing for 2 hours with these settings at least , i have a GTX 470 with 1280MB memory , the game is silky smooth i don't even see the textures loading anymore , the game is almost perfect now , it looks much better.
But i heard people with ATI are having issues , ID is working on proper drivers and a patch for us PC users , we should not have to come up with config tweaks to get proper visuals , this is ridiculous , i hope they fix all this soon .

ohhh~ and I'm loving the full body animations when characters are talking. So expressive and natural!

Only issues I have is crossfire not working, installed the rage performance driver, no texture pop, no slowdowns.
Everything seems peachy
well i just finished the game , 15 hours , it was a fun short ride , some of it was amazing , some of it was deceiving , not sure about replayability though , it's very linear. The art , level design , characters , animation and sounds were really exceptional , can't wait for DOOM 4.

Any Borderlands fans here? I only got the game about a month ago (360) and am really enjoying it I may get Rage once I'm finished/bored with Borderlands, but until then I'm quite happy

Me neither, allowing for my last console was Sega Saturn -absolutely underrated, by the way-, but this is not a problem since I can use emulators. Indeed, today I've been playing Sonic Battle, after finishing Sonic Advance 1, 2 and 3, being the last one a 10/10 game, a true classic if it had been released for Mega Drive back in the 90's. As Sonic Team fan, I love what Nintendo is doing with Sonic releasing all these awesome games. I don't care if SEGA is a third company whenever Sonic Team keeps giving us such good moments.
