Do you think everything is better when it's summer?

I would say things are less-worse in summer.

It's the last week of autumn here downunder.

Hello darkness my old friend.

Summer in Australia can reach scorching levels, and I sweat a lot. So in that respect, no. I'm currently enjoying the cold.

Having said that, I do like going out more and the activity that goes on in summer.

I feel the heat a great deal, so I any spare time I have in summer is spent sitting in front of a fan on as high as it can go up to.
So everything is better for me in winter. It is then possible to go out to places I can't during the summer.

Winter is actually better weather for running. I sleep better than in the heat and humidity of summer. I think late winter and early spring are my favourite times.

Actually I do better when it's cold on a boat on the ocean, with a sleeping bag, or on a snowboard in the mountains, cuz my muscles & blood make plenty 'o' heat. Would like an arctic walk. Not the meditereanean shivering wreck who needs 20 shirts, socks & boots, tights, hats, 15 coats and jackets when it gets as cold as 20º

Summer brings back my lovely hedonism memories of girls on-heat
and a cold lager

In winter, I can wear my coat as an added layer of psychological/social armor. Long sleeves don't seem so out of place. The days are shorter, and the nights are wonderfully long, so I can do my shopping after dark. People don't loiter in parking lots and on balconies when it's cold, so I can get my mail without being seen.

In summer, when the temperature soars, I still wear two shirts and a leather vest when I go out. It's murderously hot, but it's the very least I can wear without scaring the gentry or adding to my humiliation. Shorts? Not on your life!

Daylight saving time tears me apart. The cruel, brutal stupidity of it! The nights are already dwindling. Why make it worse?

Not really. Heat has it's own challenges... Like the busted air conditioning at work.
At least I don't have to dig out...
Get hassled over parking in the winter and summer where I live...

I used to thing the winter made you sad, I now feel happy all year round so if you believe that you feel sad in the winter you will. Happiness starts within, the way to happiness is to get rid of your stress, tension fears and negative thoughts.
