Do people sometimes think your boring?

People sometimes consider me boring, i guess thats because i prefer a smaller and more intimate circle of friends, rather than going to a big party...

I don't consider myself boring and i guess that is what really counts, i like to do alot of things like: drawing, discussing, playing piano, watching movies, go for a walk etc. But the things i like a probably what more outgoing people consider boring...

I prefer to spend time with people who are more like myself... The friends i have that a close dont consider me boring, but people who only know me superficially usually does i guess...

The most important thing is probably to like yourself for what you are, and accept that it is not nessecarily wrong to prefer to be alone... Even though our outgoing culturer demands us to be social all the time

I find myself being quiet and boring in large groups and often at work where i feel there is a vibe of people using their work personas, so the entire environment just feels out of wack for me to feel comfortable in. Managers are often switched into their work persona of being very upfront and demanding. I feel more relaxed in my own time with no pressure on me.

it was mentioned before that being boring is relative. I would agree with that.
the way I see it, different people are stimulated in different ways. personaly I am very easy stimulated through reading and gathering of knowledge, but less so through practical interaction.
there's a lot of people that cannot get any stimulus from such actions, and have to consistently interact with their surrounding environment, not just talk about it.
its these sort of people that call me boring, and I guess from their perspective, I am.

Yeah they do :: becuase I am always quite and would rather be on my own than join a grop of people but I don't think I am boring though people should get to know me because I am a fun person just people don't give me a chance to show it :: but ohwell it's their loss I guess

Though It's interesting..

Yesterday I was singing with three girls (3 guitarists) at a music college and they said, they love gaming, so I'm welcome at the club! haha

Finally I'm not weird. Though the 2 girls aren't really motivated on the songs.. They like hard rock and I prefer some more different music ::

But it's worth a try.. the 1 girl likes same music as I do so maybe we should think of a good compromise..

I used to get really down on myself because I felt my interests were lame. Well, now I really don't care. I like what I like and I will make no apologies for it. I am not that weird anyway. I would like to develop my interests more and take up new hobbies. If I am doing something with my time then I won't feel so boring; but I will admit I waste a lot of time online when I could be doing something "better." Being online is not a hobby! Hahaha...

Seeing as the majority of people I come across rarely want anything to do with me, or to have any prolonged exposure.... I can only assume that I am boring - among other things.
