cell phones; do you rely on them much?

Haha, nope. Mine can spend weeks rotting in the same place, untouched. The poor thing.

That would happen with my phone too if I couldn't download, listen to music, watch videos, and play games on it. I have lots of contacts but none of them really call me except maybe two out of twenty something people who are mostly family. Yeah, I'm definitely no phone person. Everytime one of my older nephews want to use my phone he always says that I never talk on it anyway as if to say that MotherWolff is just a lonely weirdo, which.probably is the case anyways.

Totally. With no land line phone and no other Internet service, my ancient cell phone is my only lifeline to the outside world. It's also the only way anyone can readily get a hold of me, since I only check my email once a week now.

I use my phone for music much more often than I actually use it to call people. My mom usually calls everyday after I get out of work and that's about it. Though I like to take it out and pretend to text someone whenever a situation arises that leaves me standing around awkwardly.

No, I haven’t owned one yet but I will be leaving the country soon and it may be a good idea to invest in a cheap one. I am a computer addict but I don’t think it will be the same with the phone I don’t know many people but it’s mainly for my families benefit.

I only use a cell phone to browse the internet, to keep up to date with sports news. I really just use it as a distraction when I'm feeling uncomfortable when I'm outside around other people. I figure if they think I'm glued to the cellphone they'll just leave me alone and think there's a reason why I'm staying so quiet and distant.

As far as receiving and making calls, well my phone is pretty much as inactive as they come.

I bought a phone/handheld gaming device for a reason. I barely use either, so I figured that if I combined the two it'd be more efficient and cost friendly. And it was. ;3

I don't depend on it, though. I like having it with me, but I do most communication through the laptop/PC.

I get literally no calls. I occasionally get a text from my parents asking me something about dinner, and the usual phone provider messages. That's it. It's pointless owning it.

I dont think i could live without it, i use it to text my boyfriend and some friends. the thing is tho, any form of communication that isant direct contact can open up opportunities to meet people/ do things ect... so i don't think mobile phones are a waste of time.
