candy addiction

I've been eating too much candy this month. It's like an addiction... lol. This occurs when I have to deal with people sometimes. I'll eat a whole bag of candy beforehand (especially this month). I see a lot of people eat like a couple candies, and put it away. I just ate a whole bag of candycorn x.x :( The next trip to the dentist should be interesting, eh... Anyway any tips to stop this or anyone else going through this? Also... I just watched a documentary of japanese diet and I want this diet too but it's so hard! :(

Ah, candy. Giver of life, infuser of joy, widener of tummies. :bigsmile:

You just have to be vigilant. Be hard on yourself and tell yourself that you won't eat junk and stick to a good healthy plan.

Don't buy candy and keep it in your house, because the temptation will be too strong (trust me!). Don't shop when you're hungry. Take a shopping list and stick to it.

But - and this is important - don't deny yourself candy forever because life's too short. :giggle: Everything in moderation, including moderation.

When I'm stressed I tend to eat a lot of junk food. Like today, I ate a whole entire package of cookies. A few days ago, I ate two bags of cheese curls. Ugh. Now I really feel like crap!

Sugar addiction is real. I know that for me, it is definitely real. Lol..

I keep chocolate stashed for all occasions. Sad/happy/stressed/hungry. But I love vegetables too (not together), so I do try to balance it all out...

But I can't open a bag of candy or chocolate and eat only a few pieces, so I try to only buy small bags on special occasions. Like movie night, or pay day.

Anyone ever tried a deep fried mars bar? They were a fad in Australia a while back, I always intended to try one but never did..

Sugar is supposed to be the most addictive substance in the world - worse than nicotine, marijuana, ice, cocaine. As someone who also binges on sugar, I know how hard it is to stop!

Yea I loooove chocolate AND my veggies...but also not together :eek:mg::bigsmile:
I remember many years ago there were chocolate-flavoured vegetables. Imagine a piece of broccoli tasting like a Cadbury block? No thanks! ::p:
