I have to laugh,(your comment reminded me of this) I was watching something on torture techniques that our govt uses that fall under the OK of the Geneva Convention rules and one of them was playing Christiana Agulara music to break people down, I kid you not. They use it to bring POW's to their knees and divulge secrets!

You want to know how I got these scars?
I have to admit the older I get the more open to other types/styles of music. When I was younger I was totally into metal. While metal is still my fav, there are some songs from artists I just love that I'd never had listened to years ago.
It's usually only 1 or 2 of their songs that I like.
Today I listened to 'try' from pink (prob the only song of hers I like)
And another called 'only love can hurt like this' - the artists name i can't recall at the moment.
Hardly metal, but great songs.
Now what don't I like...yea, avril... B*tchy and pathetic.
But, each to their own I guess.

lol I listen to their music on youtube for a laugh!!! :applause: I once went on a date with this gorgeous guy about 6 years ago and he told me his favorite band was Nickelback. He was soooo close to getting me into bed but as soon as he said that I changed my mind:bigsmile:.

You gotta sift through the massive amounts of drivel to find the little bits of gold, but they're very few and far between, regardless of your tastes. I think everything is just overproduced to hell with no regard for doing anything original, it's all about sounding professional.

I'm not even going to get into that, but I'm into metal too, and it started to go downhill 20 years ago in my opinion.

I have a weird thing with love songs, some I really adore just for admiring the expression of the sentiment and you always know the person genuinely feels something.
but then some can be a bit of a cruel reminder of how I feel a complete lack of it in my life.
