I'd like a wife who loves me, and all the things which stem from that. I'm not too bothered about the rest. It would be nice to have a well paid job I enjoy, but so long as I can provide for my family, I'll be happy.

I plan to get rid of my SA somehow, go to Miami, live the wild life for a while and then get a pilot's license :)

lmao!!!! have y'all never heard the term 'bomb ass'?? lol... ::eek::

At first I read it as "...i'd be one bomb ass terrorist..." and thought to myself
"O.k ?, that is a bit messed up."
Then I read it "...i'd be one bomb ass therapist..." and thought,
"Hmm, that isn't any better"

:)

Someone should start a new thread and post a sentence with pop culture
slang and see if people can make any coherency out of it.

I wanna beeeeeeeee a nueropsychologist. Ultimately to research sleeping and dreaming. That's aiming really high though and math 12 takes away my soul, so I don't know. (Still in high school, heh). Also that would probably take up about half my life that I've already lived to this point. Who knows.

With all the World War II books I've been reading recently, I'm starting to think that I should have joined the army and made my own history. Or I should have at least gotten a degree in history and joined a reenactment group or five. Or maybe I could still teach military history some day. But I hate the thought of having impressionable minds within my grasp.

I really have no idea what I'd like to do. What is there for a guy to do when he's good enough at everything, yet great at nothing?

Oh man, I feel dumb now. You guys all want to be psychologists and here's little me (who could have studied med if it weren't for SA - believe it or not, my grades were well over the required score for medicine) studying speech pathology.

Not sure which things I should put in the "wishful thinking" category and which I should put in the "realistic long-term goals" category, but I'd like to overcome SA, obviously, travel overseas to work, specialise in...hrrm, something...get married and have two kids (preferably boys, but girls are fine as well :) ), get a PhD and become a university lecturer (yes, really)...that's all, I think!

I wanna be an archaeologist now! :p

I just remembered one quote. "Everyone has a plan before they get first punch". Mike Tyson I guess?.. Don't remember which boxer said that.

realistic: graduating school in 2013. move to a city that offers group CBT, and try to beat this thing while working to pay off my massive student loan. And after a couple of years of doing that I'd be a free, fully functional human being =)

fantasy: magically recover from SA while I'm still in uni; find my soulmate; live and have fun like normal people, even if that means graduating school is gonna take a lot longer.
